Writing style

I keep comparing myself from other writers. I don't know why though but I feel that my writing style is nothing compared to the others that I have read. What they wrote seemed like it was actually from a book that's already been filtered and published. It looks so perfect. Every word and every detail was well written and then I'll take a look at my own writings.  Mine looks like it was written by a five year old compared to theirs. I wish I was a better writer. I know I shouldn't let myself down but I just can't help it. No matter how hard I seem to try, it still looks mediocre to me. If only I was a better writter then I would have probably written tons of stories by now.  #sigh.....

Don't worry, though it's already been mentioned, it's true - every writer feels like that. I read a hella lot more fanfiction than I write, and I get put off posting some of my work when I look at the amazing work of other fanfic writers and doubt my own. But a little doubt is good, it means you can work to improve that piece of writing to make it even better than it originally was. And know that the best thing you can do is practise, and practise and then some. Fighting Unnie! ~ Huge fan of your stories here! <3 x

Agree with that.i think every author will have that feeling.or atleast they'll reserve that feeling.. Me too..i keep on feeling down whenever i read other's story..mine is just like kindergarten essay.lol..seriously.

We all have felt the same thing, yknow. I think that you should remember there'll always be someone better, AND there's always someone worse than you.
The only thing we could do is keep writing. Improve.
I feel this way most of the time, but I got over it... I just keep writing bcs it makes me happy. Self-doubt is sometimes needed, but it shouldn't bring you down ♥

nope2.. don't say like that, dear.. my writing is not too good either.. it always and you are waaay waaayy waayyyy better than me u know.. u r too good to be compared of to others, dear... each and every single one of writer here have their own writing style so do u~~ and i like ur style of writing so please don't let urself down... cheer up will ya?? don't think too much it's simple!! don't stress urself out too much and have a gud sleep^^ <3
