I'll do review again. But, this time I'll do it as professional as I can. LOL :)) (yeah, right!). This is for seohyunkeroro's story By Chance: You & I.



    First, about the title & foreword. The title is kinda cute and obvious that this is romance comedy story. It's taken from a song with the same title. You can read it at the foreword. There's the lyrics too. It's fluffy, funny, cute, and amusing line. There's also popular pick-up lines like, “Are you tired cause you've been on my mind running thousand and thousands of miles ...” You think that's too old? Not for someone who's never been in love like the male character in here. The foreword & information about the two main character is enough. Seohyun is described as beautiful and super smart and Kris who has high standar for a girl falls immediately for her. 

    Second, about the the plot, character, and the originality of the story. The plot was starting from present time, then flashback to five years ago. It's easy to recognize 'cos Kris explain it from his point of view. So, you won't be confused while reading it.

    All the characters in here fits and blends with the story. The main male, Kris is a very strong man will. With his goodlooking appearence he could get any girls he wants, but he choose to be single. He believes, he will find his dream girl someday. While his other three bestfriend, Lay, Luhan and Tao were the opposite. They were playboys but still the girls adore them. They have so much experiences with girls, that's why they became Kris' advisor and loyal supporter when he started to fall for Seohyun, the beautiful exchange student from Korea.

    Kris friendship with his buddies is the best, they're bonding as brothers. Although sometimes they joked around with Kris, even called him a giant gay, 'cos he always refused any girl that confessed to him. You might found a lot of funny moments among the brothers. How they mocked to one another, even playfully smacked each other head. That's how close they are. The most memorable was the Mongolia joke. Lay said to Tao that he's going to send Tao to Mongolia 'cos ruining the plan. I swear of God, that was the most original joke ever :)) And the clueless Tao made it funnier. Among three buddies, Tao is the most clingy to Kris, meanwhile Lay is the most wise, understanding and reasonable lad (I love you dear Unicorn!), and Luhan the sarcasm joker is the  ladies man. It's complete package with Kris in it. And I must say Kris is one lucky person 'cos with the brothers as supporters, he got the guts to court the lovely girl, Seohyun.

    Seohyun is kinda naive and clueless sometimes, also demure and unique. But she's an approachable person. She got along really well with Kris' buddies in an instant. She knows their level jokes and even played along with them. She never realized that Kris was courting her 'cos Kris became a little different person while with her. But, he's still a man that would do anything to win Seohyun's heart. I must give a loud applause and standing ovation for all Kris' hardwork.

    There's also a few characters on the way. The mean girl, Hyunah who likes Kris and tried to bully Seohyun. Also Suho, the Korean gentleman that became Kris' rival. The last one was Seohyun's brother, Kyuhyun who 'tortured' Kris with his evil plan. They became the obstacles of Seohyun & Kris' relationship but at the same time make it stronger too.

    This love story might have few similarity with some others. But, for me this one have plus point with it's original jokes. You will definitely laughing or at least smile while reading it. And it's a light romance, easy to digest too. You won't be disappointed.

    About the spelling & grammar, I guess it's pretty well for 2nd English language reader like me. Maybe typos in here and there, but I'm not good in English too, so forgive me :D

    Overall, this romantic comedy story is fun to read and imagine. I'll give 8 out of 10. And if you're a Royalist (SeoKris shipper), you must read this story and add it to your fav.
