Personality: She's a real dork. She likes to spurt out random things at any moment, especially when it comes to food. She's bubbly and energetic and loves to talk to people, although sometimes she can get on people's nerves. Claiming she doesn't have aegyo, she does attempts to use it all the time to the annoyance of others. Usually very optimistic, if she gets too hungry or feels tired, she'll start to whine about small things. She doesn't like it when people tell her she's wrong when she believes she's right and will try and keep the discussion going for as long as it takes to be right.

She has a short attention span which causes her random outbreaks and she's easily amused by the smallest things. Though she's bubbly and friendly like this, she also has a very short temper and lacks patience when it comes to waiting for something. She's easily ticked off but never stays angry for longer than five minutes, unless it's something really serious. Because she's so energetic and random, sometimes she might come across as dumb, but she's not a fool.

♔The Bad, The Good

Background: Happy family of five; Father, mother, older sister, herself and a baby brother. Even though she went to a normal high school, Yurin followed dance classes and voice lessons after school and often performed in front of her family. Her father owns a dance studio and her mother is an English teacher who moved from America to Korea. Her older sister is in college studying medicine and often called her to make sure she ate well and slept well. For a few years Yurin picked up the art of magic after her uncle taught it and she used her little brother as assistant while performing in front of friends and family. Yurin always loved performing and used to dance around the house. Her parents were very supportive of her dream of becoming an idol and always send her care packages during her trainee days, saying that they rather wanted her to pursue her dreams then to end up being disappointed she never tried. When she got into the label as a trainee, her older sister was jealous because before she wanted to study medicine, her sister wanted to become an idol too. But she lacked the necessary talent and gave up. 

Before it was announced that the group was going to debut, Yurin was backup dancer for F(x) and TaeTiSeo and got a little taste of what it's like to perform on a music show or concert.
