She is exactly like how she looks. A cold person, doesn’t speak to anyone much, keeps to herself and close friends and family. Her motto to living is “I can be anyone I like, be however I want, as long as I am still myself”. Even though she looks cold and, is indeed cold, she can be caring and polite. Her manners a good, although she is not brought up in Korean manners and respectations, because in her early life and till she was 10 she has always lived in Japan. As Japanese people are known to be polite, she IS ppolite, but only to people who gives her respect first, elders and people who has never done anything disrespectful to her. But when someone who is rude to her or some certain person she dislikes she is just totally cut cold and frosted to them. Her words will be frozen edged. Though, her words aren't straight forward, she'll always bec scared it'll hurt other's feelings.

But around people she loves and loves being around with there will always be a sweet, and friendly smile playing on her naturally pink-ish lips, though she is still her quiet self. She laughs at the correct occasions and times, but she is a giggle-box!! So, even the lamest joke of the entire history will make her laugh, except jokes about her family and disrespectful stuff. When I mean laugh I mean just a small giggle to herself and then she is back on track on keeping her cool. She also has this charm that makes people like her, especially elders and seniors because she is polite and not annoying and sometimes will make pilite jokes on not-rude things. Though, with her friends and people her age she makes jokes that are very funny but with her poker-face on, keeping her cool.

Her family is a hard-working, middle-class family. So, she isn’t the bossy and picky type. She just keeps her cool if she doesn’t like anything, she just keeps everything to herself, not even her real current best friend will know anything. Hyun Joo is obviously the Quiet-Naughty type of people. She’s unpredictable. For example, when she is by herself she becomes an over hyper-active girl and laughs and smiles to herself a lot, but when she is outside her bedroom doors she is the icy girl se is known for. But after some certain incident about her, so-called best friend, from 5 years ago, that Hyun Joo that used to have fun by herself was gone. That also made Hyun Joo scared to hell by darkness. Hyun Joo may be cold and cut off somehow but she does have her soft softs. She will absolutely fall flat for love story novels. She loves living in her daydreams, indeed she is a daydreamer, going out-of-this-world in her imaginations of meeting her prince. Yes, she is a beautiful girl and boys do chase after her, she has dated many of them, but none really got her attention. She is known to look older than she really is, she looks 17-18 when she is actually only 15. She loves her family even though birth-mother died when she was 2, she couldn’t remember anything much or at all, she is happy with her lovely beautiful Japanese step-mother. Because she is friendly, so she is considered like a real mother to her and she loves her and will protect her as Hyun Joo’s blood related family. Her family is important to her, she may sometimes, most of the time be lazy but when it comes to someone she loves she will do anything for them.

 

Background[Ex. How you got on, student live, life before debut]:

Hyun Joo’s so-called best friend from 6 years ago was her first ever friend, her childhood friend. There was 3 people she trusted very much, her best friend, herself and a boy that is also her childhood friend. They got really close to Hyun Joo, to the point where, when she was 8 years old, the 3 of them were spending the night at her house, she decided it was a good time to show her best friends who she really was alone. So, that night she became wild Hyun Joo. Both of them were surprised but liked her happy self. The young boy, indeed liked it very much that he loved Hyun Joo herself, both the wild and quiet one. After two years of loving and secretly protecting her, he had the guts and courage to confess to Hyun Joo, he told her that it was because of her playful side that made him love her. In which she, accepted, but not knowing that her so-called friend also liked the boy and witnessed the whole scene. They were happy together, but not her so-called friend, she keeps doing dangerous pranks on Hyun Joo and one afternoon when everyone left school and Hyun Joo was by herself cleaning the mess she made in art period, she was locked in there by herself  and then her so-called friend came in and had beaten her up spilling more paint on the floor and telling her that if she still dates and is still close to the boy she will suffer even more than this. That was the first time Hyun Joo got her right arm broken and a deep scar on her left eyebrow, though it’s not very visible anymore.

After that, Hyun Joo broke the little boy’s heart and ignored every boy that came by for a while. Also she lost her playful self after that incidence. She then moved to another school in Japan, but after a year she moved back to Korea, in Gunsan. Though she still feels related to Otaru.

After that she was happy and content with life, never having her playful self out  again even though she is by herself. She finally got close with someone and ad feel that her friend is a real friend and will never hurt her, soon she got pretty popular because of the looks and how cold she rejected boys out of her life. Also, because that she is a very good studier, her marks are always one of the top marks. Hyun Jo doesn’t care about her popularity anyways, so she just lets her friends enjoy it while she digs herself into the book she is reading. Though, she still dates some of the boys who confesses to her, if they satisfy her critirias, so she isn’t considered a book worm.

She has an elder brother from the same mother and a step sister. Her brother is called Jung Kyu Woon, or Hiro in Japanese, is studying to become a vet, as in animal doctors, he’s 19. And her step-sister is called Yumi, or Yuri, as she would like to tell people she meets in Korea, she a bakery chef and she’s 21. She’s plumpy and cute, but she has the best taste of fashion ever! And her make-up skills are amazing.

One night she went out to karaoke with her Japanese friends in Japan. For the first time ever!! It was when she was only 13 years old, first she refused but then when she finished the song and turned back to her friends they were all in awe!! No one knew she could sing good, even though her voice isn’t all that amazing and everything but they all thought she was horrible. All of them told her to become a kpopstar ever since, all ofthem thought it as a joke but actually it did encourage her inside but she never told anyone until the day of the audition so her parents couldn’t object. All along from when she was only 5 she attended dances classes of many kinds but she has always loved dancing and has always been to jazz, ballet and Hip-hop dance classes, whether in Japan or Korea.

 Outside: Sweet yet, casual type of clothing. Not too fancy like how Japanese people like too where but not like Americans, just cute sweet, yet funky and plain clothing. Likes English fashion very much. She loves beanies and shoes and beanies and shoes.

He already has a girlfriend though they are getting distant lately because she is  in a year above and Dong ho is in a year below. He’s very lazy as he came from a rich family, he doesn’t like studying and doesn’t see how Hyun Joo can bury herself in a book all the time. He got close to her because he fail a test, so the teacher asked Hyun Joo to tutor  him. Though he is a lazy he will do everything to help the people he loves. He uses his angelic smile to get out of trouble which works most of the time, that is why he always has a smile plastered to his face. He is indeed talkative, in the annoying ways sometimes, but without him the world would be dull, but peaceful.

 

Park Jin Hee // 16 (born in the beginning of the year so Hyun Joo is still younger) // studying but dreams of being a composer // her life spins around music and wishes to go into the showbiz as a composer, She is very talkative but in the girly way. Loves fashion and is always up-to-date. She is head-over-heels for U-Kiss’ Lee Kiseop. She loves Yiruma (composer) very much, she always have admired him. Jin Hee is always on a fight with Dongho as who should be considered as Hyun Joo’s real family member (as in a really close friend that will stay there forever, if you understand?) Hyun Joo has to be the one to stop the fight, all the time and the sigh gets louder and louder as she says the same words, that both of them are important to her. Jin Hee is a talkative person and is social able, she tries to get Hyun Joo to laugh fully like how other teenagers laugh, but fails every time. She reminds Hyun Joo of Riiko back in Japan.

But you didn’t know who he is, as Hyun Joo doesn’t follow celebrities. Rtight after that was an SM Town photo shoot so you met him again and found out he’s from EXO-K and that he’s Sehun.

 

His personality: Warm-hearted, and optimistic guy. A fun-loving guy and smiles a lot, he’s the carefree type but not like he doesn’t care at all. He never puts himself first and will help other people out. He’s like a sunshine (though that is Baekhyun, but you get  what I mean by sunshine) he lightens people’s day up, though not as much as Baekhyun, our sunshine boy, does, but he gives out the charming, yet relaxing aura. Hyun Joo would go to the book store in the middle of Myeongdong, it is a small vintage book store with books of many genres. Not many people go there, it’s a book store that is hidden in a small street connecting the two big streets together (as for Myeongdong it is a rectangular shaped market, the four streets connect to make a rectangle). It is hidden between two fancy shops. Once when she went there she met this guy with a not-a-normal-person aura around him. The next time she week they met again, and again. After 3 weeks Hyun Joo went up to him and asked if he was a celebrity, and she knew instantly that he is a singer from Teen Top because her friends from school fangirls about them all the time. She introduced herself and told him she’s a trainee from SM Ent. They met each other every week at that book store and went to buy drinks and other stuff together. They became close friends.

Choi Eun Mi // 18 // she quit school to become a professional dancer (back-up dancer) // Envious, she thinks she’s the best and is ignorant. She’s from a rich family, so she;s very bossy and picky. She’s snobby and has too much ego. She has been praised for she dancing skills since she was young, but when Hyun Joo came she had a rival, and hated her since the first looks. There is nothing good except Hyun Joo’s looks in Eun Mi’s eyes, though she thought she was prettier, though no one agreed. Also in Hyun Joo’s eyes, she thought that Eun Mi is very talented and pretty, even from the first look you could see how she would be, exactly: skilled, snobbish, ignorant and over-egoed. In Hyun Joo’s eyes she liked nothing about Eun Mi, too, except her talent and eagerness to learn.

 

 

How you met/reason:

Hyun Joo met her in dance class, both ballet and Jazz. But not Hip-hop. Hyun Joo was sitting reading on her own one day and she saw Eun Mi practicing and fell down with a terrible crash, so Hyun Joo went to help, but Eun Mi brushed her off and told her to go away saying that Hyun Joo don’t dae to compare herself with Eun Mi and said she hated her from the first look. When people came in and Hyun Joo was just standing watching Eun Mi get up in pain they presumed that Hyun Joo didn’t care and pushed Eun Mi to the floor. That gave Eun Mi the idea and play along with the plot, and said that Hyun Joo said that it was great that she fell, so don’t she dare try to beat Hyun Joo, herself. It suits her right. After Hyun Joo heard that she just froze, but later she decided to ignore all the gossips, and practice on her own until she auditioned passed she just told the teacher she is going to quit to become a trainee, which made Eun Mi even more jealous of Hyun Joo because not only the skills, and looks, that Hyun Joo is a trainee!
