Ok, I'm watching "Reply 1997" a Korean drama starring Apink's Eunji, Seo In Gook and Infinite's Hoya as main characters plus a lot of ultra famous actor, comedians - like Shin Bong Sun and Jung Joo Ri - and other singers - like Sech Kies' Eun Ji Won and Apink's Bomi and Chorong (fangirling for Chorong xD). There are cameo appereances every episode and it's a wonderful drama, with an awesome plot and I think I'll ask the drama director to marry me because the scenes are thought in every detail and that's really amazing.

BTW, returning to the plot. The story revolves around the "love story" between Si Won (Apink's Eunji, not Choi Si Won...I know you thought about him!) and Yoon Jae (Seo In Gook). Yoon Jae's parents died and so he lives with his older brother Tae Woong (actor Song Jong Ho), but he practically lives at Si Won's home since Si Won's parents were childhood friends of Yoon Jae's. On the other hand, we doesn't still know who Si Won really likes, since also Yoon Jae's brother falls for her at some point of the plont. You will be thinking where's Hoya in all of this? Well he is omni-present in the drama because he is Joon Hee, Si Won's and Yoon Jae's close friend...however he has a secret that only Si Won knows. When Yoon Jae asks Joon Hee if he likes someone, Joon Hee replies, that , yes there's someone like that. It's the hell for Yoon Jae since he had already seen Si Won and Joon Hee hugging, caressing or other things like that...Not only his brother but also his best friend???? Yoon Jae, poor Yoon Jae. However the real thing is that Joon Hee doesn't like Si Won but ....dududududududu. ..... Yoon Jae!!!

Yeah, you understood well, Joon Hee (Hoya's role) is gay and Si Won is the only to know about that. That is the reason why Si Won is always close to Joon Hee, and Yoon Jae misunderstands everything and thinks that his friend is in love with Si Won... Aaaaaah! Tsk tsk tsk...Yoon Jae.....

But why I wrote this blog? Because Joon Hee fianlly confessed to Yoon Jae and Yoon Jae thught that it was a joke...poor Joon Hee T^T That happens in the last aired episode, not the last one! It's the 10th episode of the drama and Hoya ends the episode saying something really beautiful.

In the last scene, Yoon Jae was asking Joon Hee why he liked Si Won (but Si Won isn't the one who is liked by Joon Hee!!! ) and then Joon Hee asks the same to Yoon Jae who simply repies. "Because she is pretty....to me" Awwwwwwwwwwwwww! My ovaries exploded.

And then Joon Hee wraps up everything with a romantic period:

“The reason why I like you? Because you’re that person. You are you. Is there another reason aside from that? I wish I knew that reason because then I think I could find a reason to not like you anymore. If I can’t avoid it, there’s only one thing that I want…that you’ll end up as someone that I can love for a long time without a change of heart. For love that′s breaking our hearts.”

Here's Yoon Jae and Si Won's Kiss scene in the 2nd episode, they already kissed and Yoon Jae doesn't confess..Tsk Tsk Tsk...this guy...

Since the scene isn't subbed, this is what happens:

Yoon Jae narrates that during the spring of 1997, their second stage of maturity was already in progress and the two of them were already quite different.

Wanting to check whether or not this awkward embarrassing feeling was because the two realized they were different or if the nervous feeling was because she had become his first love.


 

Yoon Jae takes some steps closer to her, and whispers, “Confirmation,” before swooping in and kissing her as Yangpa’s Young Love plays in the background.
