Da Eun’s is introverted; she’s like this because of her father’s job that required moving a lot and she soon learned that if she didn’t make many friends, she wouldn’t need to get hurt over leaving them. Background:

Cho Da Eun was born in San Francisco, California, staying there until she was ten. Due to her father’s job as a bilingual representative for a company, she moved quite often, the result of learning many languages; she was isolated as a child, only close to her family and few friends she made moving to each place.

When they moved to Korea, she made a friend that did singing covers and posted them on a video sharing site. Her friend convinced Da Eun to do a cover with her, Da Eun singing a part. The video grew popular and Ime Entertainment soon noticed Da Eun’s talent in singing, offering her an audition. She was skeptical, wanting to audition so she wouldn’t need to move frequently, but knowing she would miss her family—eventually; her friend encouraged her, along with her mother.
