Hey there, glad you could join us. So first thing's first, what do we call you?

Seungjoo’s fine. I go by the name Park Seungjoo but everyone else here calls me Seungjoo or well, J.O is fine too.

Okay, got it. And how old are you, if you don't mind me asking?

I’m eighteen, even when some people mistakes me for nineteen or twenty, I’m still pretty young. A proud AB-blood liner here!

Mhm and, now don't take this the wrong way, but are you a guy or a girl?

like you can see it, I’m definitely a male. And no, I did not get a plastic surgery for this face.

And do you have a significant other (boyfriend/girlfriend) *not everyone has a boy/girlfriend, can be a crush as well*...?

I’m pretty much y, free and single right now ahahaha. Oh okay, my bad. It’s a bad joke, huh? Well, now that you mentioned it, I do have an ideal type but I’m a loner right now. What is my ideal type? It’s a secret, of course! Ahaha okay okay, you got me. I’ll say this once. It’s Lee Jieun. Why you ask? Nothing big really, I just found her really cute ahaha and sulli as well. Oh they’re both cute! But sure, it’s only a little crush, it happens every time!

Excellent. Now, for the benefit of our ceo and judges, how would you describe your appearance?

As you can see, I’m standing tall at 181 cm and weight 60 kilograms. A lot of people said that I'm attractive so I guess that was a compliment? Oh well! Ahaha my hair is red-brownish, it’s redder under the sun though but yeah, it looked more brownish now that I see it. I have standard pearly black eyes, quite big too. Markings? I have this tattoo on my back but it’s not visible unless I take my clothes off, well, I can’t take it off and show you, if that what you asked ahahhaa I’m shy. Ahaha okay I’m not but seriously, I’m not taking it off now! The tattoo? Oh it’s just a quote, you know, to motivate me. It’s written ‘do or die’, a motto of mine. Other than that, my skin is quite white, I used to have a tanned skin when I went to Hawaii last year for holiday but yeah, my asian skin went back on its own!

And if a stranger had to spot you in a crowd what should they look out for?

My hair, definitely. It stood out! And yeah, I’m pretty tall so, it’s not really hard, huh? I love colorful shirts and so, try to find someone who’s wearing lots of colors and voila, you found me. I like wearing hoodies as well, you know, I love urban style. It’s pretty comfy. Well, I’m pretty confident about my fashion. Even though I love wearing just shirts and jeans, I’m good with styling. Not trying to brag here but I can match up my clothes pretty well! I wear formal suits and tie on formal occasions, of course but what matters to me is that I’m comfortable with everything I wear so yeah… how confident I am? Oh, I’d love to just hang around with my pajamas but guys got pride, y’know! This? Oh just normal earrings, one that my mom sister bought me last year, a birthday present to be precise. It’s pretty simple, just a small, black triangle.

What's the first thing this stranger would notice about you?

hmm… let’s see… I’m pretty confident and straightforward. It’s running in my family blood so don’t blame me personally on that one. I’m also a free soul, I talk when I want to, I stop when I feel like it and I don’t give much damn about gossips or rumors. I love being in a group of people and just you know, hang out and stuffs. I’m somewhat popular in my last school and my clique is pretty cool with those awesome swaggers around, I feel like we’re one of the best people in the school. My brain? Oh please, Don’t judge a book by its cover. My IQ is pretty high! I got As’ and Bs’ at school, shock? Don’t be. I’m just starting. Ahahah just joking don’t take it to your heart, please. But really, I’m quite smart! Other than that, I guess you’d stop twice when I started dancing and rapping, I’m quite confident on that one and yes, I practiced real hard on it. I am, what they say, the kid who brings trouble. But, that was just a false rumor so don’t believe them too much. You know how people got pretty irritating and began to spread bad joke around town. Well, It’s true that I love doing things my own way but that doesn’t mean that I bring trouble by much, well, maybe, just maybe, little fights here and there might happen but no big deal! ahaha no one is perfect, right? Hmm… what else… I am pretty hyper and I’m the type of guy who can lead people, maybe that was just my nature, but I love being in the lead. I love talking as well! Rather than making an image of a goody-good student, I’d prefer being real and show you who am I. Isn’t that what Woo-Len Performing Arts Academy is aiming to? A school with no boundaries, a place to express who we really are, isn’t Woo-Len Performing Arts Academy in need of such student with the same thought? This boy, however, is not easily fooled. I may look dumb but you’re really wrong on that one. I can differentiate between lies and truth, it’s pretty obvious though and well, I’m not the type to act nice to those who had betrayed me. I, however, really respect those who are truthful to me. I’m loyal to those I trust as well so yeah, I hope you like what I sound.

Let's just say this stranger decides to observe you for a bit - any habits or quirks they might notice?

Since I’m a social butterfly myself, I like hanging around people. I’m not being clingy, I just like being with a crowd. I smiles a lot, you know how girl fawns over a face like mine! Ahahah okay okay, I’ll stop. Or not. /clears throat/ ahem. And It’s pretty normal for me to play pranks on people, it’s really fun! You should try it sometimes! Ahahah and have I told you that I tend to eat at midnight? No? oh well, I’m saying this now! I love eating midnight snacks but it’s still a mystery how I never gained weight afterwards! Sounds good, huh? I think so too. Well, I do get bored a lot and when I am pretty much feeling that way, I tend to just listen to music and hum along with the tune, my eyes loves to wander around and being a curious soul myself, I love exploring new places and no matter how risky that might sound, nothing can stop me from getting what I want. I’d enter a room even with the ‘do not enter’ logo on if I really want to. Ahahha, that’s me! Oh! And did you see this? Yes, I love fiddling my fingers, especially when I’m too excited for things or extremely nervous. As of now, I feel really excited doing this interview so yeah, it happens naturally! I’m also a person who cares a lot about my appearance so you may see me fixes things after another. I like being seen neat and thus, I fix my hair and also my clothes a lot! /smiles/

So this creepy stranger, what would their first impression of your character be?

What do you think of me? I should answer this myself? Hmm… you really like me whining, don’t you? Ahahah! Okay then. I’ll be cocky so please bear with it. Well, you’d see me as a confident individual who stood out a lot. You would be like ‘Oh gosh. he talked a lot and I don’t know when he would  stop!’ right? And you’d probably think that I am somewhat the class joker. I love to joke and I love making friends. You’d see me as a careless soul who doesn’t give much damn about rumors but somehow you knew that I can stand up for myself. Maybe you also refer me as a rebel, like what most people accused me of. Over all that, you’d see me… as a very attractive being, maybe? Ahaha please, don’t laugh. I’m just being real! Do you think so? Oh I’m flattered. Ahahaha okay, I should really stop now!
 

So, sport, you got any hobbies?

Hobbies… hmm… I love playing online games. Quite cliché, huh? But that’s what I love doing most. Dancing is… my passion. I don’t know if that can be included in my hobbies but yeah, I just have the urge to include it. I also like basketball and sometimes soccer. Not really a fan of swimming or athletics but yeah, I’m quite fond with ball games. Something else? Eating and sleeping probably? Okay I sound like a lazy right now ahahah! I do love music and if I say listening to music is my hobby, that’ll be too simple right? So let’s just say my hobby includes humming to a song I love.

Interesting! And what about the things you like the most?

Seriously, it can take me a day to list all of that but sure, I’d cut it off for this one. I love eating. I love Japanese food in general you know sushi, teppanyaki, all of that is just wow. So tempting. Ahahah and I do love the color green. As you can see, my shirt today is green, so does my watch and if you notice this little necklace, it’s also a green one! Call me a maniac, I just love green! Supposedly I love Americano as well. Loved coffee with caffeine in general and yes, I could just list every single one of it. I love reading comics. I’m a huge naruto and bleach fan and I’m not scared to admit it! It’s just pure awesomeness with all those moves and fighting scenes. Damn. You should read it as well! And yes, I do love online games as mentioned before. I love playing the counter strike, actually, any games that includes violence and fighting is pretty fun. And uhm… okay I shall warn you first but please don’t laugh when I mention this… I really love shopping. Well, It’s one of the things I do when bored and yes, I love strolling around myeongdong and hongdae most. Gosh, how do you know about things I want to say? To add more, As a artsy soul, I love dancing most. I just… I don’t know. How to express this in words? I just feel that I was born to dance. It completes me and I don’t think I’ll ever be the same without it. Dancing is my life. Rapping as well! I love both dancing and rapping, it’s just an inevitable package. You love dancing? You’ll love rapping as well and yes, that also includes singing. I may not be the best one in singing but yeah, I’m fond of it. Acting you ask? Well, I’m interested in it but I haven’t tried doing any of those so yeah, I need experience. Let me cut this short. Above all that I mentioned above, I love sleeping the most. Ahahah! Not the thing you’ve expected it to be? Sorry, it’s just something I have to love.

And there's gotta be things you don't like too, right?

/laughs/ oh yes. A lot. Like seriously, I hate eating vegetables. I know how people blabber out ‘it’s good for your body’ ‘it contains vitamin a, b, c, d’ and on and on and on. But really, who cares? If I don’t like it, I really mean it. You’re not going to tell me off too, are you? I hope not because I also dislike those who think that they’re so smart and act like they own the world. There are things we both dislike and I’m sure everyone else does... Don’t you just despise clingy people and liars? I just can’t stand them. I also dislike being alone, maybe because I’m surrounded by people all the time and feeling lonely is not my thing. I also dislike people who gave up before trying like seriously, they’re not worth it if they wouldn’t want to learn. People don’t get things free now days and we all know good things don’t happen on their own, we need to work hard for it, you’re thinking the same with me?
 

Great! So are you keeping any secrets? Don't worry, I swear I won't tell.

Oh hahaha seriously. Like serious, seriously. I had to tell my secrets as well? Ah jinja… /dry laughs/ okay okay, just this once. I... how to say this… well… /avoids gaze/ well, I’m an accident child. /dry laughs/ Okay, I don’t like talking about my personal life but yeah, I’ll just say this once. As we all know, everyone have their own problems right? It’s sad to say this myself but the truth is that my parents don’t love me and I don’t think they’ll ever will. The thing is that I happened. I just happen to happened and… I sometimes feel unwanted, it’s pretty sad, huh? /lowers gaze/ but yeah… I’m adapting to it though so don’t worry too much /tries to smile/

My lips are sealed. Now, what would you say is your best quality?

I think I’ve mentioned it before but I’ll say this again. I am confident in things I do. I can make decisions for myself and I’m pretty much independent on my own. I’m a social person as well.

And your worst? C'mon, no one's perfect, kiddo.

I agree to that one. No one is perfect so I guess I’m a person with flaws as well. I admit that sometimes I act like a jerk. I am a stubborn individual and my temper is really short. I may hurt people with my words… sure, I felt guilty afterwards but sometimes, I’m just unaware of it and… it… it just happened.
 

Now how about the other people in your life, let's talk family.

Actually, I didn’t like talking about my family but sure, let’s talk about it. Here’s the thing, I don’t have any siblings. I’m an unwanted child from a couple. My father, named Park Hyunseok is a business man. He’s a CEO of Hyundai and there’s only one word to describe him, he’s cold. When I say cold, I mean like really cold. He didn’t give a damn about anything except work and sometimes I wonder if he really loved my mom. My mother, named Park Minjung, is a fashion designer. She’s a bit warmer but still is as cold. As a child, I don’t think that I really had parents… by the way they treated me, I felt like an invisible figure in the house. I’m even closer to the maids and butlers rather than my own parents. I tried to impress my parents with good marks and all that but it seems that they’re never impress so in high school, I stopped being an obedient kid and just do things I want since I wouldn’t change a thing afterall.
 

Any pets?

Nope. My parents hate them so I always pretend that my dolls are my pets ahahaha
 

You're doing great, just a few more questions. So where are you from?

I was born in San Francisco by accident and because of that, my parents had to go back to Seoul. All my life was spent in Seoul but it’s pretty cool to say that I was born in the United States.
 

I see, cool. So how come you ended up at Woo-Len Performing Arts Academy [W.L.P.A.A]?

It’s pretty much my own decision. I’ve always loved music and I don’t think my parents would care about things I does so yeah, I found myself here! I also got some recommendations from my friends that this school is pretty cool, so kudos to you and this school! Aside from all that, I think that this school would provide me with dreams, passion and future careers since after all, I’m a clueless soul.

Almost done. So what makes you special then the other people trying out for this spot in the school?

Not being cocky, but you’ll regret not having me. First things first, I come from a well known family and I, being the unwanted child, decided to take music as my future studies. Okay, I’m not going to talk and brag about my family since it’s pretty pathetic to depend on my family’s status. So yeah, let me list some things… In general, I’m a very good dancer and rapper and I can tell you why. I have excelled in popping, hip hop, R&B, ball dance to ballet since I was a child. I’m also one of the crew of ‘the Gorilla dance crew’, one of the best hip-hop dancer communities in town and with that; you also know that I’m an experienced dancer. I also participated in some shows before. One of the most famous is ‘ballerina who loves b-boy’ I play a part as one of the dancer, a friend of the main dancer. Sure, I did not get the main part since at that time, I’m still pretty new but being in the show itself was something to be proud of since it wasn’t easy to get in.  Aside from that, I’m a pretty good rapper as well. I mastered Outsider’s way of rapping and I’m pretty confident in my pace of rapping. I’m pretty fast at learning as well so yeah, hope you’ll consider me.

Chohee? Well, she reminds me of myself. She’s pretty confident and I think she’ll make it big in the entertainment world. Not gonna lie, but she’s a pretty one as well. It’s true that I’ve never heard her sing or dance but from what she said and convinced, I’m going to anticipate her.
