Thoughts on Hyuna's comeback...
As some of you may have heard, Hyuna is making a comeback in October. Some may be excited and others not so much. I belong in the latter category and I'll explain why.
Don't get me wrong, I love 4minute... but not so much Hyuna. I personally feel like Hyuna is extremely overrated in a bad way. It's like: "Hello, there are 5 members of 4minute not just Hyuna." Plus, I'm just not a fan of any member of a group releasing a solo song. For an OST or just a song on the album, I'm okay with but preparing to perform it and releasing a full-fledged music video for it: then no.
If anybody in 4minute that deserves a solo song it's Jiyoon... maybe Gayoon. In my personal opinion, Jiyoon is a much better singer that Hyuna and has a better stage presense than her. Don't get me wrong, I did love Change... but it went extremely downhill with Bubble Pop... the music video that is.
If they keep up with Hyuna releasing solo songs... then just have her go solo. Hyuna is always getting the screne time, she's always getting the solo comebacks, and everytime I see something about 4mintue... it's always Hyuna. Because of this, I personally don't like Hyuna. My reasoning may be bizzarre to some people but I do think she is a great person. It's mainly just the bull media and the way the potray her.
In the Gangnam Style MV, I actually liked her. She wasn't over-the-top y nor was she acting like a total . (Excuse the language). She looked like she was having fun and had a cheerful spirit and I wish they would have her like that all the time.
Despite all of this: If I like the song, that's okay. Good music is good music, nothing to complain about. I was this way with Bubble Pop. I like the song, not the music video. Sigh, let's just see where this goes...
