Aya is a actually a tomboy. She prefers not to wear girly stuff, and that's why she's constantly dressing up almost punk style. She's an independent girl that likes to go around exploring new places and having fun. She's very adventurous and curious, and sometimes people seriously wonder how she manages to come back from her 'adventures' alive. Aya isn't afraid of death and is willing to die while having fun. She's a girl that would go around running down the street with a cloud of hornets after her because she was curious how the inside of their nest looks like.

However, Aya tries to keep that side hidden and always comes off as the calm, elegant and mature type. (explained in history) She's always polite and seems like the motherly and feminine type. Aya never raises her voice and she always has a polite smile on her face. She pretends to be weak while she's actually freakishly strong. When the other person is capable of defending the both of them, Aya would go and hide behind them while pretending to be scared when she's actually excited out of her mind. It takes all she has not to jump out during an exciting situation. Miyoung has a lot of self control though, so she's able to.

History:

Aya is the result of a rich man sleeping with a mistress. The man is a very rich and well-known man, and his mistress is a farmer. The man really loved the mistress, and he treated her better than his own wife(who he married in an arranged marriage). However, as a man with status, he couldn't let others know that he was in an affair, so he had to send the woman and the child away.

Aya grew up not knowing about her real father, as her mother married another man a year after her birth(because it was too hard to manage a farm herself). He wasn't mean to Aya or anything, and they got along very well. However, Aya always thought of him as a best friend rather than a father.

Aya's biological father had to pick a heir to his fortune, but he didn't want to pick his wife nor their children. His wife had always been the selfish, greedy type, and so were their five children. He didn't want to leave his money in bad hands, so he decided to call be Aya and her mother. When he saw Aya, he knew she had a good heart despite her tom boy personality. He then decided to leave the fortune to her if she was willing to learn 'the proper way of a lady'. Aya's mother and step dad encouraged her to go, as she'll have a much better life than as a farmer. With their words, Aya left the farm to go live with her biological father. She was only twelve then, so she didn't quite understand anything.

That was where Aya's personality was forced to change. She had to ditch her tomboy and adventurous personality to become the calm, orderly lady that was to be the next head of the family. Since Aya's father was going against the rules to do this, many in the mansion treated her badly. However, Aya didn't mind, as she just wanted to make her mother and step dad proud. She continued to work hard until she began their ideal image.

However, Aya's half siblings nor their mother was about to give up that easily. They were constantly plotting in the background to get rid of her. But Aya's dad was a sharp one and always kept an eye on her so nothing serious happened.
 

Childhood:

Aya's life on the farm was a hard one, but she didn't mind since she had such kind parents. They were always supporting her and encouraging her. She gain most of her strength during these days. She would work on the field with her parents everyday, and they would have fun while doing so. Aya got along very well with both her parents and the neighbors and even animals. They all knew she had a pure heart. Aya really enjoyed the earlier days of her childhood. Her dream was to make her mom and step dad proud.

During her life at the mansion, she was ignored a lot while others were just plain rude to her. However, she didn't mind. Aya just wanted to inherit the fortune so that her mom and step dad could come live with her. Aya never showed it, but she's never really liked her biological father. She hated him for leaving her and her mother, and never sending any support. Aya's live at the mansion wasn't nearly as pleasant as on the farm, and she felt like giving up many times.
