Background History-

Erin Nam comes from a middle class family. Her father, American-Korean mixed Joseph Nam met her mother, Korean born Park Dat Byul, when he had traveled to Daegu for an exploration month with his best friends. They bumped into one another quite often that they ended up dating just a week before he was scheduled to leave. On the last week of his stay, although the time was short, Joseph had decided to remain in Daegu with Dat Byul in hopes of seeing things progress, which it had. 2 years into their relationship the pair had gotten married and gotten pregnant right away wanting to waste no time in starting a family. On September 28, 1993, Dat Byuk had given birth to Erin Nam, an American-Korean mixed baby girl.

Life prior to Erin's existence wasn't that great, financial wise, and nor did it change when she arrived. Both parents worked extra hard to help provide for themselves and their little girl, giving her all that they could even if it wasn't much. At age 5, Erin's parents enrolled her into music programs in hopes of opening her up. She was quiet kid and rarely spoke causing them to worry. A neighbor from down the street had suggested the enrollment seeing as it had worked for her son, so she had thought they should give it a try as well. It took a while, but eventually Erin adjusted to her new surrroundings causing her to become more open as well as gain the strong interests she has today.

At age 8, Erin was told that she'd be a big sister to twin brothers. She was both excited and annoyed by the news. As much as she enjoyed the fact of no longer being the only child, having to share her parents didn't sit well with her. When her brothers Stevie and Sky were born, she kept clear of their way not wanting to come in contact. She knew she was being childish but she was 8 at the time, which in a senseable way made sense. 5 years later nothing had changed but improvements were made. She still kept distant but not as bad as before.

A year later her parents had passed due to a car accident leaving Erin and her two brothers alone, also closing the gap she had with them making the three become closer than ever. Normally they'd be sent to a foster care home till adopted but refusing to do so, Erin had dropped out of school just before her freshamn year and instead focused on being a provider. Everyday she sent her brothers to school then went out and performed street acts for money as well as releasing stress and pain. She did this till she was offered a trainee position by a company scout in search for fresh faces. She hesitated a bit but in the end took it. She balanced out the worries and thought that if she made it, she could use the money towards her brothers.

History with him: Ravi and Erin had met each other through an old high school friend of hers. Park Min Woo, Erin's high school friend and a trainee himself under VIXX's company, had inroduced them to one another after bumping into him and s at Jellyfish Entertainment. It was then that they started to hang out. At first it was just pure friendship, but soon Ravi began seeing her more than just a friend and soon acted on his inner feelings. He made her uncomfortable because really love isn't apart of Erin's mindset but as time passes and Ravi's continous gestures of annoyance -coughsaffectioncoughs-, she opened up and let him in.

History with him: Daniel and Erin know one another for a long time. Their fathers are high school classmates and have been friends since then. Although he is 2 years older than her, they have a tight friendship almost as if she's his third sister. They lost contact for a while after her last visit to the states [age 13] before her parents passing but met up again in the kpop industry, he at the age of 22 and she age 20. During her three year trainee period she had watched his performances with s but never took notice of him till she and her members greeted scheduled groups at 'Show Champion' just before their debut stage.

Why rivals?: Friendly rivalry really, Erin adores CAP's ability to come up with rap lyrics on the spot. She being a rapper herself feels that being able to spit sense when called upon at anytime is a good skill to know and have. It takes time for her to think of something and the pressure of being called on unexpectedly only makes it worst, but with practice she's slowly getting the hang of it. She will take any chance she can get to go up and up with him in a free style battle. In the car, in the practice room, after schedules, at the restaurant, you name it they've done it. It attracts a lot of attention, but at the specific moment it's just them two and their mini battle. When all is settled and down, they drown in shame at the large crowd surrounding them.

Why rivals?: These two are friends, mildly close even, but when it comes to producing and composing, being friends is of no existence. Since both share similar tastes in music and both love to compose new beats and lyrics, the pair goes head to head in a battle that no one around them can seem to keep under control. They'll literally sabatoge one anotheer's hard work because in their eyes, only one's hard work can be featured on a TOP Media Enntertainment track. Since L.Joe is considered her sunbaenim he's already had the chance  to showcase what he's capable of but now that Erin has stepped into the game, the standards has risen even higher, especially since he's become a silent fan of hers. He'll never admit he likes her work and she'll never admit she likes his, all everyone knows is, when it's time for composing, step out of their way.
