ahn ji eun or etoile jacobs. she was raised up in paris, france and moved to seoul when her father made "antoine" clothing line and her mother died. her family life is normal. she has one plder brother named ahn jae hyo. he is one of the rookie group block b member. her mother died when she was giving birth to her. making her getting used for doing house chores eventhough she seems like she is a boyish type of girl. she always be an obedient girl to her family and always obeyed her father. she never treated like a girl, since her father doesn't know what did a girl wants. making her becoming a boyish a girl and really simple girl. she never asked for anything from her father. she knows her father is rich but she wants to be a diligent and succeful person. she worked to make money and used her money for herself. she is prefer to gave the money to her brother rather than for herself. she knows that her brother is need more money than her, so she gave it.

at the age of 11, she started to thinks about her future. she wants to be a director and dancer. she decided to studied abroad for 2 years in new york to learn about director and dancer. she get frustated there and thinks that being a director is not her style. that's when she met tiffany and l.joe. they asked star if she wants to joined their dancer team. she joined it and like it. she went back to korea at 15 and decided to be an idol because tiffany and l.joe is becoming an idol and she is becoming envious and want to be like them too. she started to audition in SM Ent. luckily, the judge is her uncle kangta, tiffany and sungmin. they really impressed with star rap and dance skill. since they are her close friends and siblings and they already know her skill, she easily got in. she told it to her father. h from that time, she started to train and be a trainee in SM Ent. hoping that she will debut and go on the same stage with jaehyo, l.joe and tiffany someday.

trainee background: etoile (her french and english name) was wandering in the underground of NYC City. She was practising her dancing and rapping skill with tiffany and l.joe when sm staff saw her. the staff was impressed with her skill so she asked etoile to joined the sm audition. she asked if she could take tiffany with her since she want to be an idol too. they auditioned and they both get casted. since then, they both moved back to korea and becoming a trainee with sm entertaiment there. tiffany debut first in snsd and she debuted with rhapsody in 2012.
