Personality : Melanie is a girl who is very cheerful and bubbly, no matter what situation she's in, there is always one thing that made her laugh. She never fails to make other people laugh with her in her class. She's the mood-maker. Family :

Hwang Jiyong – 43 years old—12^th February 1968 – Working as a news reporter (in LA) – Still breathing a.k.a Alive –Father—caring and supportive, full with concern and well-disciplined , sometimes a bit childish when it comes to Melanie because its hard for him to see her working harder than him.

Kim Miayang—43 years old—3^rd April 1968—worked as a waitress at a well-known café in LA.—passed away—Mother—Melanie didn’t get a chance to see her mother because she passed away right when she gave birth to her. But her father said that she’s sweet and beautiful like her daughters.

Siblings : Stephanie Hwang Mi young—22 years old—(unknown)—an idol under SM entertainment, in a famous group called Girls Generation a.k.a SNSD(so nyuh shi dae)—Older sister— Bright personality and can be a great teacher in Vocal. So she and these guys are very close, she was dancing like a little kid in the Apink’s dorm, and that time BTOB was there as well, so they talked and talked soon became friends. That day was on the very first day of 2012 which was 1^st January, they were getting ready to celebrate new year with CUBE family. And  2 months after that, Melanie was transferred to TSent because they can’t debut her in Apink nor 4 minute, she can’t be a solo either so hearing the news, TSent wants to take her because of her talents.

Bestfriends background :

 Melanie was entering a food store,she bough bibimbap and Minyoung was beside her, smiling. It was Minyoung’s birthday that time. Suzy came in and sang a surprise birthday song for Minyoung, Melanie was shocked, without hesitation she sang along with Suzy, and from that time, they became closer. Since then, they love doing karaoke together and eat together.

Rivals : Oh Hayoung—16 years old—19^th July 1996 – Apink—Vocalist/Rapper—She likes doing overly aegyo, its not that melnie don’t mind but it annoys her every time Hayoung whined with a pouting face, Melanie felt like twisting her face.

Reasons of being rivals : when celebrating new year, Hayoung purposely trip Melanie when she was dancing, Hayoung get the spotlight and started dancing, Melanie didn’t let her get away, She started dancing her own moves which was incredible, hayoung rolled her eyes, and Melanie doesn’t like it when people rolled their eyes infront of her, so she grabbed her by the colar. Since then they were never in good terms, sometimes they challenged each other for dance battle, if Melanie wins, Hayoung will do something, If Hayoung wins, she just crossed her arms and gave her dirty look.

Plan on reconciling ? : Yes, Melanie wants to say sorry to her, Hayoung wasn’t that bad actually, she had to admit, when they had the dance battle, she was having a great time with Hayoung so she’s planning to invite Hayoung to her birthday party someday.

Love interest : Jung Daehyun—18 years old—28^th June 1993—B.A.P—Main vocalist/singer—he’s shy but tough, have a good sense of humor.

How did you met him/her ? : It wasn’t that interesting, Melanie saw him chatting with Jongup, she tried to remain calm and approached them. She greeted them, and Daehyun gave her his sweet smile which Melanie fall for him ever so quick.

 How did you met him/her ? : Melanie was drinking her water when Zelo greeted her with ‘Noona’ at the end. Melanie stared at him and told him that she’s 16, and Zelo was very shy after that, Melanie helped him to shake it off and became closer, they liked to make funny dance together and laugh with each other.
