I just watched this movie for the second time and let me tell you, it's still amazing.

I'm so confused though because the ending was completely different. So tell me since I'm too lazy; is there an alternate ending?

*spoiler*

I specifically remember the main dude living at the end after he set the room on fire. Then he was sitting at his computer and was living with his wife. She asked him to throw the stuff from the room away then he looked through the box of stuff. He played the tape recorder and they both heard their dead daughter from the room. 

But in the ending I just watched now, he died. 

WHAT THE POOOOOOOOOOO

I'M FOREVER CONFUSED.

UNLESS THERE'S AND ALTERNATE ENDING.

Yeah that's it.

For the roleplay, I'm gonna start it tonight and work as late as I can without getting kicked off my computer.
