HARRY POTTER; THE EPIC LEGEND. ♥

Okay, so Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 comes out TOMORROW in the USA, and gosh, this series was so...amazing, in words I can't describe. :) It was basically a good part of my life and the story, the plot, the characters, the relationships, JK Rowling's writing style--it's all too brilliant and she's definitely the God of Writing, in my opinion. Let's not forget about the lovely actors who portray the just as lovely characters so WELL. :D

Harry Potter, it's come to an end now. The books and movies...they're all over, but Harry Potter lives on. :D To commemorate this fantastic series, I'm dedicating a MASSIVE blog post filled with quotes, pictures, gifs, macros, and anything Harry-related. Warning: There are a few swear words in some of the pictures, but it's nothing that'll scar you for life--omg, get it? "Scar?" [[ I'm terrible. ]]

Enjoy, Potterhead. :)

The Characters:

Obviously, this is the biggest component of the story. Without the characters, there'd be no story, so I'm taking the time to show just a few of them. (Obviously I can't talk about ALL of them, do you know how many there are?!)

Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe):

The protagonist, the hero, the Boy Who Lived. The best protagonist/hero anyone could ever ask for. Don't we all wish we had a bit of Harry in ourselves? I love the fact that even though he's the main character, he's not perfect. He's a not a genius, he's not the popular kid, he isn't a total sunflower, spreading kind words to all the kids who walk the halls, and he makes mistakes, like anyone would.

Thank you for teaching us the importance of friendship and perseverance, for bearing the weight of the world on your shoulders, for going on even when all faith was lost, for everything you sacrificed. Thank you for everything.

Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint):

Oh, what this guy did for Gingers. x) But no, this character is seriously amazing. Every bit as much of a hero as Harry, and seriously funny (I think it runs in the Weasley family. x)! His relationship with Hermione is so beautiful (shipper alert^^) and he's just a seriously good friend, and amazingly brave too.

Thank you for showing us the meaning of loyalty and always coming back.

Hermione Granger (Emma Watson):

Arguably my favorite character in the entire series. :) I just feel that Hermione's such a freaking awesome girl character--most girl characters are either so girlie or so not. Hermione can be both, AND she's an Einstein. How's that for awesome? :) Even though she's a know-it-all, you gotta love her. Sticking with Harry till the end, and choosing to save the world over her true love--now THERE'S a great character.

Thank you for teaching us the definition of friendship--and everything else, too.

Severus Snape (Alan Rickman):

Probably the best good bad guy EVER. Snape, Snape...Severus Sna--anyways...I like how everyone didn't really know Snape's story. He has one of the most interesting stories to me. His hate for Harry all comes from when he was a boy, and Harry's father always bullied him. I find that fascinating. :) Snape's a really complex character, and a really brave person when it comes down to it, so...

Thank you for being the bravest man we ever knew.

Lord Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes):

First of all, "NYAHHHHH~" Classic line from Voldy in DH: Part 1 and 2. :D Moving on, Voldemort, AKA, Tom Riddle, is THE best villain ever. Ever, and don't you try arguing with me about it.

Thank you for inadvertently showing us the meaning of love.

Albus Dumbledore (Michael Gambon):

The wisest man you could ever know, Dumbledore. (Random note: How awesome of a grandpa would he be?!) Hogwarts's best headmaster there ever was, and may he rest in peace.

Thank you for all your wisdom and the reminder than happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.

Draco Malfoy (Tom Felton):

He was a favorite character of mine since the start--who didn't like his cunning, evil ways, and the way he was always out to get Harry? He's the boy who made all the wrong choices, which is sad. But, I'm glad he had a somewhat-happy end. :)

Thank you for showing us the hardships of choosing between what is right and what is easy.

Sirius Black (Gary Oldman):

(Okay, this is getting lengthy, so I'll just say the thank yous.)

Thank you for being the closest thing to a father he ever had, and for teaching us the strength of friendship.

Minerva McGonagall (Maggie Smith):

Thank you for sticking up for your students, and always doing what is right.

Fred and George Weasley (James and Oliver Phelps):

Thank you for making us laugh, even we wanted to cry.

Molly and Arthur Weasley (Julie Walters and Mark Williams):

Thank you for being the loving mother who fought for her family. And thank you for believing in the value of Muggles.

Remus Lupin (David Thewlis):

Thank you for fighting to make a better world, and for believing in Harry, even though you didn't believe in yourself.

Ginny Weasley (Bonnie Wright):

Ginny, another girl who TOTALLY KICKS . She's a great symbol for female characters, and I love that she grew from a shy, young, nervous girl to a bold, independent, brave, kick-your-a*s kinda girl. :)

Thank you showing us that size doesn't matter, and for teaching us that our voices matter the most.

Luna Lovegood (Evanna Lynch):

Luna, the loopy, strange, unique, adorable one, who I will always love. :)

Thank you for never losing your faith, even when all hope seemed lost.

Neville Longbottom (Matthew Lewis):

Thank you for your bravery in times of peril.

Rubeus Hagrid (Robbie Coltrane):

Thank you for always being the friend he needed, and for giving him the love he never got before.

Hedwig:

Thank you for always knowing just what Harry needed, and for being the only link to the Wizarding World every summer.

Fawkes:

Thank you for being a beacon of all that is good and right in the world.

Lily and James Potter (Geraldine Somerville and Adrian Rawlins):

Thank you for the love that saved us all, and for protecting your son, even when you were gone.

Narcissa and Lucius Malfoy (Helen McCrory and Jason Issacs):

Thank you for the love of your son and lying to protect him; thank you for changing your mind in the end.

Colin Creevey (Hugh Mitchell):

Thank you for loving Harry with us.

Honorable Mentions: Dobby, the house-elf; Bellatrix Lestrange; Mad-Eye; Nymphadora Tonks
