Style || Lily's has two kinds of style.

When it comes to her casual - she goes for comfortable but not overly feminine. She tends to wear graphic T's or off the shoulders, thin loose jackets, Levi's and sneakers. She also wears cardigans, V-necks or plaid shirts, dark skinny jeans and flats or boots. It all really depends on how she feels that day: either comfy or girly. One thing's for sure - she may wear dresses, but she's never worn a skirt in her life and does not plan to ever wear any.

For formal - she goes towards elegance and sophistication. Nothing too short (she may not be too feminine, but she does have feminine modesty) and nothing too long (she does not want to trip on her dress - that's just mortifyingly embarrassing). She's okay with strapless, but she feels more comfortable when she has at least one strap on her shoulder. She also mainly wears dark colors because one, she doesn't want to be blinded by her own dress, and two, she thinks bright colors are really REALLY girly.

History || Rina and Jin met in high school - Rina was a freshman while Jin was a sophomore. They shared a biology class together but never really started talking to each other until near the end of the 2nd semester. By then, they had both recently became single and needed a partner for the final lab project. Not wanting to pair up with their exes, who shared the same class with them, they decided to partner up. That chance pairing became the beginning of their relationship.

After Jin graduated, he and Rina decided to get married once Rina graduated. Surprisingly, her parents were okay with that (usually, parents are against marriage at a young age) since they got the chance to get to know Jin (who was abandoned at 16 by his alcoholic mother and abusive father and was taken in by Rina's parents). After Rina graduated, they were married, Rina was accepted to UC Berkeley on a full ride scholarship, they were going to live together on campus and they were going to be parents. Things could not have been better for them... until they found out from Rina's father, Donghyun, that her maternal grandmother, Nari (hence where Lily's name came from), had passed away. This results with Rina's parents moving back to Korea to take over her grandmother's restaurant by the time they started school. Rina had constantly worried about her parents while they were in Korea but chose to focus more on her family the moment Lily was born.

Lily's childhood was relatively normal in the beginning - except that her parents didn't want her to be too girly, so they decided to raise her as a tomboy. Rina had always been a tomboy as she grew up and it gave Hyunjin peace of mind knowing that his daughter liked sports and martial arts and could defend herself when boys bothered her. Despite that, she still lived as a girl and did have boy friends as much as girl friends. That eventually had to change...

On Lily's 8th birthday, Hyunjin received word of an opening as a substitute English teacher at a public high school in Korea.  At the same time, Rina learned from her mother, Mina, that her father had been admitted to a hospital after collapsing at work. Mina reveals that they had found an abnormality on his lung and it isn't certain whenther it is benign or cancerous. When Hyunjin finds out about this, he immediately applies for the teacher job. After being interviewed and tested, he was hired. As happy as Hyunjin and Rina were that they were going to reunite with Rina's parents, they felt a little despicable because it meant that they had to take Lily away from her friends. Lily, however, surprised them by telling them that she was fine with their decision since they haven't done anything for themselves since she was born. Plus, Lily wanted a chance to meet her grandparents. 

Which brings us to today. Mina continues to work as the manager of Seoul's Paradise, the family restaurant, while Donghyun is still recovering as a survivor of lung cancer. Hyunjin continues to work as an English teacher at the school, but now he works full time while Rina works at the restaurant as the hostess and weekend manager. Lily continues to balance being a trainee while also working at the restaurant as a waitress. That is - until SM had decided to have her debut in a new group...

Personality ||  

The very first thing you must know about Lily is that she is not the typical girl you see every day. In fact - she is what you call a very unorthodox kind of girl. In a way - she's almost the epidemy of a O (blood type) person. She is very determined when it comes to getting the job done and tries to make the best decisions that she can even if she has to think on her feet. She is extremely loyal to her family and friends - to the point that she will show up like a ninja by their side when they're in trouble. She can be bluntly straightforward when someone needs her opinion or advice and needs an answer. She is incredibly strong-willed (others call her stubborn), passionate, confident and independent.

She is normally a pacifist, but she gets annoyed just like everyone else - the moment you hurt her loved ones in any way possible = you won't be speaking for a while [and maybe even more than that - you probably won't be able to move a part of your body ever again (she's freakishly strong)]. And yet, Lily is a closet kid-at-heart who loves watching Disney movies, watching cartoons, and playing with kids. There are times when she would meddle into situations that she shouldn't be part of because they are usually ones that would solve themselves, but it's usually because she cares too much about the person the situation is hurting. Lily doesn't give a horse's arse if it ends up hurting her in the end - as long as they are fine, then she's good with that.

Lily has a great, and mostly sarcastic, sense of humor - something that shocks every person she meets because they say that she always looks serious. Lily is very level-headed whenever people are panicking - which makes her the one who has to calm everyone down. She can be extremely tomboyish [she'd rather play sports and video games than shop and gossip] and gentleman-like [she always takes care of her girl friends better than any guy that tries to date them] - so much that strangers tend to think that Lily's either a guy (when she's in baggy clothes, Lily gets mistaken as a guy very easily) or a lesbian (she likes guys - just putting that out there). Lily can be very secretive. There are some things about herself that she hasn't told people, even her best friends, because she feels as if that things like that are something they shouldn't worry about. People always believe that she's one of the strongest people they've ever met - but that's because she nevers show them how much she's struggling inside. If she ever does cry - Lily will always cry by herself or to Yoseob, her cousin and her best friend for life.

Reason for rivalry || She first met Lily when she worked as a background dancer for B2ST. Lily was just hanging out with the guys right after their practice when HyunA mistook Lily for a guy and started to flirt with her. It went on for over two hours until Yoseob was getting grossed out, so Lily ended it by revealing that Lily was, in fact, a girl. The guys, minus Yoseob (who was still grossed out), started to laugh and HyunA abruptly leaves, completely embarrassed. 

Since then, HyunA's hated Lily with a burning passion and was apolled at the fact that Lily was going to be in a group, believing that the group was going to fail miserably. In reality, she's merely jealous - with all the hang outs that she's seen between Lily and B2ST, she's seen what Lily can do and wishes that Lily wasn't so gosh darn talented.

Love Interest || Dongwoon of B2ST

His Personality || From first glance, he can be perceived as the strong and silent type. In reality, he's really friendly and sweet once you get to know him. He also loves taking care of children - it's hard to explain, but he really lights up when he plays with children. It's hard to approach him because he has this intoxicating but alluring aura around him that makes him very irresistible and yet it seems to make him unapproachable for a lot of people. It's completely imaginary, though. He's extremely loyal and is a man of his word. When it comes to girls trying to get with him, and trust me - there is a lot of them (for obvious reasons), he gives them a gentlemanly smile and brushes them off sternly, not wanting anything to do with them. But when it comes to the girl he likes, it's hard to explain but his face slightly softens up and there's a pretty good chance you'll see a genuine smile out of him.

First Meeting || 

It was a few weeks before B2ST's first solo concert. Yoseob wanted Lily to have a sneak peak at what they planned for the concert. As Lily watched her cousin perform with his band mates, suddenly, one of the back up dancers fell. He had aggravated his old knee injury, so, to prevent any more damage to the knee, they decided that they needed to find a substitute dancer. Everyone decided to take a break, so Yoseob decided to introduce Lily to the rest of B2ST. After the introductions, Dongwoon looked confused. He asks "Why would they name a boy Lily?" Lily then says, "Hmm, probably because I am a girl." Everyone's mouth, except for Junhyung,  drops. She then s her jacket to prove that she's a girl.

Their manager then tells them that break's over. He sees Lily and tells her to exit the building. Dongwoon, uncharacteristically, blurts out "But she's the substitute dancer." Everyone's eyes, including Lily, stare at him. The manager is skeptical, so he asks Lily to dance for him. She hooks up her mp3 player to the sound system and plays, surprisingly, B2ST's Shock. She then freestyles the intro then switches to Shock's choreography and dances it to the end. The room went silent... and then it went "MWO?!!!!!!" And so, Lily became a back up dancer.

How you act around each other || Since then, they've grown significantly closer. Lily's close with everyone in B2ST - heck, Junhyung's her best friend - but when she's with Dongwoon, they're like childhood friends who have to catch up with each other. They all see how different the both of them are when they're by themselves: smiling like idiots and joking around with each other.

Current Relationship || It's excrutiatingly obvious that they both like each other - but they are oblivious to their own feelings

Previous Relationships || Lily actually dated Key for about a month back in 2005. Then he was accepted in SM Entertainment. They both felt that a relationship between them wouldn't last if he was going to be an idol. So they mutually broke up. To this day, they are the best of friends.
