So, I know I've never really seen a post about this. But at 3AM Korean time, on August 8th some years ago, Donghae's father had died of black tumor, a type of cancer.

We should acknoledge this, and thank him for everything he has done for Donghae. He raised him well into the handsome man he is, made him strong. He persuaded Donghae to become the singer.

His father, before he died, he spoke to the Leader, someone Donghae sees as a true brother. Leeteuk. To say that to take care of him.

I've noticed this a few times, and during the most recent performance of SFS, Donghae looked very dazed. He barely sang, his face was hard. He must've been in pain.

Although you may never read this, I want to say Thank you.

Thank you for letting us know Donghae, for your strength, for your everything.

You were a great dad. A great one. A one Donghae cherishes.

You mean so much to him; you do..

Thank you for making sure he was safe, for protecting him and nourishing him.

Thank you.

I know that you are watching him from above, and that you are very proud of him.

Please continue to look after all of the achivements he makes, the things he does.
