An amused smile, carefully selected words, controlled movements, that's Yong Soah for you. She doesn't stand out from the crowd and doesn't exactly wish to do so either. However her strong determination to shine and sheer stubbornness to never back down always makes it easy to pinpoint her out from the rest. Soah is a bit of an introvert and likes keeping to herself. She hates the crowd as she's shy and afraid of it but much more likely because she finds solace in her own company rather than being in the presence of others. Soah is someone who defies all logic while trying to be understood. For her young age, she sure doesn't think like one. She knows about life more than needed for a 16 year old and so she finds it nauseating when girls her age are more into boys, nails and their hair. But even if she hadn't she still believes she wouldn't have turned out like them. She's independent and doesn't like relying on other people. She hates owing debts partly because she's afraid of what they might ask in return.

Cold, shrouded, a bit hard to approach - that's what she's often labelled as when people first look at her. Her blank expression doesn't help either. But the moment she smiles, her face lights up like the sun. Another moment when you can see her truly shine is when she's dancing. She loves dancing above anything else and can't imagine a life without it. She believes one can express themself without using any words through dancing. Soah always carried out her duties as a trainee very seriously and practiced very hard in all aspects necessary for one to debut as an idol. So she has a bit of a problem with teamwork. She often believes she can carry out the whole work alone by herself and as a result is always seen in a row with one of the members. Well, most of the time. Despite her shortcomings, Soah is very chivalrous for a girl and won't stand back like the crowd when she sees someone in trouble. background:

Born in Korea but raised in Japan till she was 7 then moved away to the States for few years and finally moved back to Korea, Soah comes from a wealthy family with a loving father. Her mother was a world renowned violinist who passed away when Soah turned 5. Despite a mother, her father cared for Soah very well always playing both roles equally. And so Soah cherishes her father more than anything. Since she's the only child she had no siblings to play with and as a result grew very close with her one and only cousin Yoon Jae Shin.

She and Jae Shin are practically connected by the hip. Since childhood they did everything together. Bathing, studying, eating, sleeping, anything you name it. Since his young age Jae Shin always wanted to dance. He told Soah that he wanted to debut as a dancing singer, an idol. Soah never got it why he was so addicted to it. In her mind she was far off better just being herself rather than pretending to be someone you were not. But it all changed when Jae Shin couldn't dance. Because of her. Soah pranked him into running across the street. He fell for it, fell for it hard getting hit by a truck in the course which tore his knee ligaments rendering him unable to dance. For days he didn't talk to her. For Soah who had no other friends and only him to lean on, she felt lost and suffocated. She blamed herself for this and apologized to him for countless days. When he did speak to her, he told her that he was not angry at her. He was just confused as to what he would do now since dancing was all he had.

It was then Soah promised him. Her exact words being "Fine. Since I took your dream. In return I'll give you a new one." It was then Soah started dancing.

how he treats you: He treats her like a kid because that's what she is in his eyes. The 5 year doesn't exactly help either. Soah feels herself being undermined whenever she's in his presence because of the way he treats her. Over the years seeing him as a trainee she began to develop a love-hate feeling for him. She loved how he took care of his juniors and how he'd treat s with strict love and affection yet at the same time she hated how he'd expect nothing in return at all. It was like as if it was expected of him. Unfortunately for her she was not on the receiving end of the same treatment. Even if they'd cross paths it would be a curt nod and stiff silence. Over the years it developed to being picked up on and made fun of like how an adult would fool around with a kid. Soah hated feeling like that. Unbeknownst to her, she's the only one whom he treats that way. He never takes her name and always chooses to call her "Oi!"

why are you rivals?: During their trainee days everyone knew who Krystal was and admired her a lot for her looks, her fluent English and also the fact that she was Jessica's younger sister. Well almost everyone but Soah since she wasn't even aware of her existence as she joined SM to become a trainee not pass her time gossiping. Once during a dance competiton organized for the trainees, they where asked to choose a partner. Taemin was among one of those amazing dancers who everyone wanted to partner with. Naturally Krystal thought he'd ask her but much to her suprise he chose Soah. Pissed off Krystal confronted her telling Soah that she thought herself to be such a big-shot and all, when in return Soah had that blank face all the time. After Krystal was finished fuming, Soah quitely called out, "Taemin when are we starting practice?" Since then Krystal's hated her more than anything.

comments/questions: I really like the fact that you used 5 girls to debut in a group. Seriously you can't believe how happy I am applying for a 5 membered group. Also I thought since there is a main position for everything, shouldn't there be a main rapper too? Also please do be understanding of my age. I AM a 95 liner in real and I know the age difference between Soah and Kris might make you go "What the FISH?" but I really wanted to see how this would work out.
