Not really sure if anyone will read this or not but I was scrolling through some kpop tags on tumblr and saw some Jongtae action so I decided to look through the tag and it seemed like some people were really disgusted by the fanservice and stuff and some of them raised some pretty good points but I still enjoy it... So I was kind of wordering about some other people opinions on fanservice. 

I mean in my opinion when you go out and sign yourself up to be a kpop idol (especially as a guy) you pretty much know that there's going to be fanservice involved. It's not like they are completely unaware and forced into it against their will. Fanservice is nothing new and especially nothing unique to Korea. Jrock fanservice is even more extreme (not complaing kekeke). So I just don't think that they are that against it in the first place, not saying that they are gay or anything like that but just that I don't think they neccessarily hate it.

I mean to be honest my best friend and I went to a lounge in the city a few weeks ago and the dj asked us to like joke around and show some love since we explained how we've been best friends forever and will be starting college together in a few weeks and the guys were chanting for us to kiss since we kept saying we love each other. And we kissed each other on the lips and it wasn't really a big deal, we aren't attracted to each other or any other girls for that matter but we do geniuinely love each other as friends and we are both confident enough to kiss without feeling uncomfortable. (And it was funny to hear everyone cheer, but that's a different story)

Anyways, I'm not saying I don't see where people are coming from because I do. I mean especially now with the whole T-ara thing it's pretty clear that not all groups have such a strong bond and what not, so I'm sure sometimes it can be frustrating to have to fake chemistry but at the end of the day it's their job and the other members are their co-workers and they can't possibly not have known they'd have to do fanservice so I can't really sympathise with the whole "idols being forced to kiss against their will". 

Do I think some of it may be a bit much? Yeah, maybe but at the end of the day I have to be honest when I say I don't think they hate it that much. Imagine being a guy and being able to turn on that many girls by just goofing around with you guy friend? I mean did you see Jongtae recently?! Damnn I wanna get in between that! 

(Sorry for using shinee and if jongtae isn't your preference. I'm by no means a Shawol but they were just the pair that sparked this thought for me)

But yeah I'd love to hear some of your thoughts, just please no bashing or anything I mean for this simply to be for sharing thoughts and opinions and getting different perspective. Let's all love each other <3
