Surprise... Surprise!

Alright! If you haven't known, I've been married for almost two years now and we have a son named Brandon.

Now, Brandon was born on August 15, 2011 and in the coming days, he will turn one.

It's been hectic for me because I'm an interior designer and I have a heart condition to worry about during my preparations for his upcoming birthday.

And about a month ago, I was worried because I've been feeling tired all the time and I've been having back problems for a whole week. So, I had to go to the doctors for a check-up because my doctor told me that I had to tell her if I've been feeling weird.

She recommended that we should observe if something happens other than the tiredness and the pain, and to ouir surprise something did happen....

MY PERIOD WAS LATE!!!!

We were worried because this never happened before to me even when I was in early stages of pregnancy with Brandon. I felt lower back pains and tiredness during my last few months of pregnancy with him.

Of course, we had this instant hunch that this might actually be another pregnancy. But with my condition, it's very difficult to have a baby because I have a heart condition.

My husband-- the worried and caring husband that he is-- got on his car and went to Walmart for a pregnancy test. He didn't even think about the weird looks the people gave him and he just bought it for us. When he got home, I was shocked to see five different kinds of pregnancy tests: from pee-sticks to automatic ones.

Brandon was already napping at the time and we were just pacing back and forth until it was time to look at the tests.

TIME'S UP!

We looked at the manual ones and the two of them said positive. Then, it was time for the automatic one (this one was shorter time but we waited for the others to finish) and it said POSITIVE in big letters.

We were so happy because it's a gift from God and so close to Brandon's first birthday. And to confirm things, we went to the doctor's and we got the blood work and stuffs. AND IT'S CONFIRMED!

I AM PREGNANT WITH OUR 2ND CHILD!

I'm eight weeks pregnant right now and it's still hasn't showed. I've been eating a lot, exercising a lot, and drinking lots of water and medicines for the baby.

I'm so happy and can't wait for our baby to be born. I just wanted to share this blessing to everyone.

FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO WANTS TO GIVE YOUR OPINION ON NAMES, PLEASE FEEL FREE. JUST MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE NAMES FOR BOTH GENDERS BECAUSE WE STILL DON'T KNOW IF IT'S A BOY OR A GIRL.
