CH 2

Ch.2 Step One •••••••••••

"So, how are things with the Z-I-C-O? Have you talked to him yet?" The red haired woman said with a smirk on her face. She knew about Chaerin's small crush on the young blonde man and the fact that it annoyed Chaerin that she would always bring it up whenever he was around. "Yah! Do you know how loud you are?" the younger woman whispered, looking down at her textbook. She regretted telling Bom about her crush on Zico. If she could, she would take back everything she told Bom in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, she hasn't found a genie in a bottle or a tiny leprechuan to grant her wish /yet/.  "You know that there's only a week left til summer vacation, right? I heard he's leaving to Japan over the summer. You know what Jiyong said about the girls in Japan. They're into some pretty freaky stuff. What if they kidnap that fine piece of man and turn him into a -crazed fiend. He'll never want to leave Japan."  Chaerin laughed at her unnie's crazy, far-fetched conclusion. As you can see, Bom's a little..crazy. Which usually  is a good thing. The majority of the time, her conclusions are incredibly wrong.  "Or maybe they'll beat him up, kindnap him and send him to my doorstep so I can nurse him back to health?" Chaerin speculated.  Chaerin slowly developed a crush on Zico earlier this year. The thing that attracted her was his lanky form. She didn't usually go for slender guys but there was something about him. Maybe it was the way his back looked so good in his usual white tees. Or the way his white G-Shock watch highlighted his foreams.

Bom smirked when she noticed Chaerin's frequent glaces towards the blonde haired man. After weeks of intensive research, Bom had finally come to the conclusion that: Chaerin was either allergic to boys or was secretly a lesbian. No straight woman would not get at /that/. Zico was extremely y, the way he wore his fitted caps and the way his voice sounded when he rapped. Bom shook her head, allowing her firey red bangs to follow suit. She reminded herself that she was in a perfectly happy relationship with Seunghyun, albeit they've been on and off ever since high school. Either it was their lack of communication that ruined the relationship or the incredible amount of drama between the two and the dozens of haters that wanted for the two to break up. "I have an idea. Follow me." Bom grabbed the younger woman's arm and pulled her up from the wooden chair. She closed Chaerin's textbook and grabbed her laptop from the table. With everything removed from the table and now into Bom's arms, the two walked towards the table occupied by Zico and a couple of his friends.  "Are these seats taken? We sorta got kicked out of our table." She lied, jutting out her thumb towards a random table full of students.  With a mumbled "yeahs" they were granted access.  Bom chose the seat closest to the red haired friend, only leaving the seat across Zico open. Chaerin glared at Bom, mentally sending her a long stern message along the lines of "I know what you're trying to do. I swear if you do something stupid, I will burn all your corn."  Bom smiled at Chaerin, whether or not Bom got the message wasn't Chaerin's problem. Bom shall pay for this.

"I'm Park Bom." She stuck out her hand towards the red haired man. The man glanced up from his intense game of Angry Birds and noticed Bom's lone hand in the air. "I'm Bibum. That's Zico." He said pointing to the man intently reading his psych book. Zico smiled and waved at the two and continued reading. "And Kyung." He tilted his head to the man on his right. "Nice to meet you guys. This is Chaerin. She's from Japan, originally." She nudged Chaerin to start a coversation. Chaerin glared at her and turned to smile at the guys.  Zico smiled back. "Are you studying abroad or are you here to stay?"

Bom smiled to herself. Stage One: Complete.  During her time of being single she had come up with 3 fool-proof steps to making a man fall head over heels in love. One: Intiate conversation. Two: Leave them wanting more Three: Entice and attack.~~~

Chaerin tried to hold back her smile. She felt her cheeks slowly turning pink. Her pulse started to race. She began to feel small beads of sweat form on her forehead.  "Unfortunately, I-I'm here to s-stay." she managed to spit out. She tried to avoid staring at his lips. ~~~~
"Omo, Chaerinne. You're cheeks are almost red. Is your fever coming back? Eottoke? I'll go get some orange juice." She grabbed her wallet out of her bag,"Shall we grab something to drink at the cafe, Bibum and Kyung? My treat." She smiled waving her dark green wallet in her hand. "Zico-sshi, can you take care of Chaerin? We'll be right back."  And with that, the three of them left.
I chuckled nervously as the trio left the table. In order to look busy and shuffled through my empty bag and fished out my phone, casually checking for any messages. None. Typical.
I placed my phone on the old wooden table and proceeded to blush in front of the man. . My. Life.

[No need to thank me :) And don't you dare threaten my corn!]

I smiled at Bommie's message. I made a mental note to thank Bom with a sack full of corn.
"Is everything okay?"
"Yeah. It was just Bom. She wanted to know if you wanted anything to drink." I expertly lied. This time I managed to talk without stuttering or staring at his

"I ment, are you any feeling better?"   "What?" Realization hit her. "Oh. I'm feeling a little better."  The two managed to start a decent conversation. Bom and the others arrived an hour later. The five of them departed ways.
