Give me Pieces of Advice.

Hello Fanfic authorS!! Specially those who have CO-AUTHORS in their storylines.

Arrgghh.. Okay this is my problem.

We have a project in a subject. And it's about creating your own short story. I was so delighted hearing that precious project given by our adviser. But then she asked the class...

"Would you like to do it individually, by group, or by twos?"

Two contrasting options were heard, "By twos." and "Individual"

But seems like by twos are EFF'N LOUDER!!! And of course the teacher had to go to that DITCHING 'MAJORITY WINS' DECISION.

I WAS LIKE "EFF". Only the us (my classmates who are also writers), shouted "INDIVIDUAL PLEASE", the thing is, we're just one-eight of the population inside.

Uh commmoooon! It was the heavy downpour of badluck when I got paired to a high-ranking classmate. And it was *HELL*. My partner wasn't actually interested in writing, specially fanfictions...some kinda..she likes x-squared. linear functions, algebraic equations... and urggghh!!! I was so sick of it!! But outside my emotion was incredibly blank. I just write my feelings here cuz I know all of the readers will understand me.

ONE THING - "I LIKE ROMANCE FANFICTIONS...a very creative and imaginative point of literature."

And she was like, "COMMON FAMILY PROBLEMS."

Oh WOw!!! How can I cope up with this shifty problem?

You know, I just can't blurt out all of this in front of her, in front of the class. Cuz they may think Imma big selfish thing.

But I JUST WANT CONVENIENCE!!!

PLEASE, give me some advice on how to cope up with that kind of person. I know writers's mind are peculiar towards them... that's why I wanted it done just by myself ... because everything will go on the cycle of your own hands... your wanted scenes will happen the way you want it to happen.

I KNOW IN MY WORDS I BECAME SELFISH.... SORRY I JUST CAN'T HELP IT. I JUST WANT MY STORY FLOW ON MY OWN MIND.

ONE QUESTION: HOW COULD CO-AUTHORS in AFF WORK?

----- Hope You Can Help Me. -----

i never have a co-author because im not really interested in having one plus nobody asks me kekeke
im very understand that you want to write your own plot but need to accept that this is a project by twos.
Your friend want a common family problems and you want a romance, right? then how if you mix it together??
like in "paris je't aime" in that movie there r more than 2 couples and they has their own problems...just like in a fanfic but has 2 main pairing

Hello there~ :)

Well, I haven't experienced having a co-author, but I did have some troubles with pair activities at school before. keke. All I can say is, you need to respect each point of view and treat each other as an important part for the project. You can talk about it and then decide for the topic that both of you can relate. I know a writer's mind flows freely specially on it's own, but sometimes we need to channel these thoughts to other people especially when they are part of the project themselves. Teamwork and harmony is needed to come up with a good job and maybe you can gain a friend? hehe.. good day! ^^
