Daughter of Xanadu

I just bought a book last Wednesday from the bookfair which is currently at our school. It was on Tuesday when we had the time to look around and see what we can buy. And since I'm an "Asian-pop fan", I would really love to search good books about asians or any kind of related stuff to it. So, I walk towards its section and the first book that caught my attention is, "Daughter of Xanadu"

Well, basically, that's the book is bought. xD
I got attracted by its written plot on the back cover and made me curious about the story. It was 345 pesos. [about 9 dollars] At first, I thought I'll just waste my money and time. But I just realized that I'm wrong. I'm currently on chapter 22 of it and I really love it!

It's about a princess aged 16 years old. She's very beautiful and well-trained to three manly arts of the Mongols: horse racing, archery, and wrestling. She simply wanted to be a soldier..but she's a princess, right? So why enter army if you could just live happily with your husband and chat with other women on the court? Simply, she's not interested with those stuffs. Her mother tried to betrothed her to some fine men but she always managed to reject them.

One day, he met a foreigner, named Marco Polo. This Marco is a merchant from Venezia which visited Xanadu. At first, Emmajin [the princess] doesn't find anything attracting within him..but, as time flies..She's noticing everything beautiful in this man.
....

Okay! I'm telling too much! xD
I didn't really summarize the story for you guys! It's really just a glimpse! :)
I'm telling you...It's so good! ^_^

Anyway, I just found out that it already have a sequel! KYYAAA~! I should buy it as soon as possible..or just read it online? xD
