A girl was sitting at the corner of a room, frowning by herself. A boy, who had just entered the room with two glasses of milk in his hands, caught the sight and chuckled. “What’s with that frown?”

He put the two glasses of milk he was carrying on the table before joining the girl. In her lap, he noticed, lay a bowl-shaped aquarium filled with colorful paper cranes. Her hand was holding some of the paper cranes and apparently they were the causes of her frown.

“I was looking at these things.”

“And?” he couldn’t restrain himself not to smile in amusement. It was clear that the girl was not in a good mood yet her pouty lips looked so cute and adorable.

“Do you remember these? We made them when we were still 8 years old. We wrote our hopes and dreams on it, hoping we could fulfill it when we get older, yet—”

“Yet you haven’t managed to fulfill it?” the boy interrupted softly.

The girl pouted and nodded. “My 8-years-old-self would be disappointed if she saw me now. Look at this! I wrote that I would go to medical school and became a great doctor while in fact I entered school of art instead—”

“You didn’t go to medical school not because you weren’t smart enough but because you are much more great in art, you know that,” the boy interrupted again, this time planting a peck on her temple.

“But still,” the girl looked disappointed.

The boy smiled and took another paper crane from the aquarium. “I remember this one clearly. Do you remember what you wrote here?”

Together, they read what was written on it.

I wish I will always be with Jinki.

Park Sunyoung blushed after reading her own handwriting while Lee Jinki planted another peck on her cheek. “At least we managed to fulfill this one.”

Sunyoung looked back at her boyfriend’s eyes and finally smiled, before leaning forward and kissing him softly on the lips. “Yes. And now let’s start working on our project or else our dear professor would scold us again.”

A/N: at first I didn't want to post it on asianfanfics since I really had no idea where should I post it. I don't want to create a new story for this super short drabble, that's why I posted it as a blog post instead. this is my very first drabble and non-seokyu-or-yongseo story, specially written for the first challenge of a livejournal writing community I'm currently following.
