Hating on the Internet

So I was on Tumblr and I saw this girl's blog and she had the most typical Tumblr Famous blog out there. 

She worried so much about her Tumblr and I was so fed up from my standpoint as a follower that I went to her Tumblr and told her how I REALLY felt.

Now, while I agree it wasn't the nicest things to say, It really wasn't that bad. 

I was like "You're so freaking stupid! Why do you care so much about your Tumblr fame? I'm unfollowing you bye."

It was the first time I ever sent anything remotely rude to someone on the internets and the worst part is that I didn't send it anonomously so I should have seen the hate coming. 

I just don't get the hate though. It was all anon and I'm sure it was just the girl getting her revenge, but I could have told her something much worse like so many people in this world do, I chose not to. and she was telling me all sorts of rude things. They didn't hurt my feelings. but wow. 

Is this what the internet comes to? If people have the privledge to tell someone rude things without revealing their identity, does that mean they will?

At least I had the balls to tell her what I really thought. 

So tell me what you think?

Speak your mind. I always see people saying "Don't judge others, respect others.... blah blah." but they judge people, gossip behind other's back. I do feel like scolding them and even hitting them (in my head XD). People in the internet are stupid....

Which means I am stupid because I spend much more time in the internet than anyone whom I know does.

Honestly I was raised to be respectful but my parents also raised me to take my problems to the person they are with not behind there back. It was better to go to her as yourself not anonymous and tell her your issues and then walk away that is the respectful way to do it. Now that you have said your peace you can be the better person and just walk away. Haters who can't let go are not worth your time they are just looking for a fight.

you're so cool. And if i were you, i would just unfollow her like i never did care. and if it really pisses me off, i might tell her to buy a rope and hung herself. Lmao. And i feel that it's just her who is sending the hate comments. Im not into tumblr though...

All I could say is that you could've rephrased it in a more subtle way, but I can really relate xD I do and say random without thinking all the time. The part that pissed me off the most was the anon hate you got, I mean it could be her loyal followers but the fact that it might be her is just... Wtf.

and people should be able to say what they want, be we all know it's not really like that. You have your own opinions, and you share them, and you get hate for them. People . When they're able to hide behind the internet, it's even worse.

well when you say something rude to one person, a bunch of people are going to retaliate. this is what happens. people feel the need to defend others. whenever someone I follow gets hate, from anons or not, I always come to defend them.
okay, so maybe you were sick of her and her worrying about her fame, but you could have worded it more nicely... and you would have still been telling her what you thought. of course if you say something mean, people are going to hate on you back.

People only care about things like tumblr fame when they don't have any friends at all in real life. It's sad, really. That the internet has become so many people's only connection to other people. It's a good tool, but you need to actually have real friends. People to laugh with you, cry with you. It is little moments together that make life worth it. It's why I have such a hard time staying close to international friends who go back home. It's not the same.

Listen You felt what you felt and I'm Like you I mean DAMN... It's the internet. It's not your life. That's why I don't have a tumblr And don't one. No you weren't wrong. So let it go and MOVE ON. Let her be a eventually she'll get you aren't dealing with her
