style ⋮ To Kyuhae, the most important thing about good clothes is comfort. She likes to wear smart clothes, and she has a weird addiction to red, or better yet, colorful accessories. She takes hours standing in front of a mirror trying to look good, and often succeeds, but sometimes she looks like nothing else but a chameleon. Kyuhae's style mostly depends on her mood, so there are also days that she is dressed in just one color. Though she has a thing for tomboy clothes, Kyuhae still chooses to be more girlish.

❋ What is the first thing that people see about Kyuhae? It's obvious nerdiness. Always having at least a thick book in her reach, Kyuhae seems to be reading everyday, every night. Along with anything she does, she reads. Books seems to be her only not-so-little addiction, and sometimes her only weakness. From Shakespearre to teen novels, even books on special fields, Kyuhae seems to have the ability to read and understand everything. After all, she's the smart type, or should we say, the genius type. That's an advantage to her, but not much to other people. Everyday, she lectures everyone about what she has figured out for the day, and people find it extremely annoying. Well, except for some, like her best friend and her also nerdy classmates, who almost worship her as their goddess of knowledge. Her memorizing skills is quite impressive, too, and Kyuhae has always been being the teachers' favorite ever since she was a little girl.

❋ Since Kyuhae spends most of her time reading and studying, she's not really into socializing and making friends. She often finds other girls annoying and talkative, so of course, she has a guy as her best friend. They have been together for such a long time, and like twin flames, their bond is tight, but they never seem to have any romantic interests towards each other. Kyuhae barely talks, sometimes that makes people think she is mute when they first meet her. Every time she opens is a time when endless ranting and lecturing come out; if not then she would just say something weird and become an awkward turtle right after that. Kyuhae prefers communicating through her eyes, though few people can get what she wants to express. Mostly they'll just think that she is trying to be a diva.

❋ Use three adjectives to describe Kyuhae? Random, weird but warm-hearted. Kyuhae isn't really the type to think before she does something, so her actions are filled with randomness. She does mostly everything she wants and tends to be moody a lot. You can see her laughing and telling jokes one day in the cafeteria, but maybe the day after that she would chop you into a million pieces with her cold glares. And when she listens to her not-quite-normal thoughts, the results tend to be crazy. Many people around Kyuhae give her weird glares for doing so, but she has some appearance too, more than just brain and weirdness. Some guys try to flirt with her, but unfortunately they never get what they want, as Kyuhae's ability to ignore people she doesn't like is pretty admirable. When they speak, Kyu hears nothing but dogs barking, she once told her best friend so. However, Kyuhae is more sensitive than people thought she could be. She is usually the first one to sense problems through others' speech and actions, and she tends to be the one willing to fix it. Despite that fact, it seems like nobody fully understands this hard-to-get girl, even her best friends.

❋ Apart from books, Kyuhae also has an extreme liking for music. Whenever she gets mad, the best choice is to give her an iPod and leave her there alone, drenched in her own emotions. This method also works for her brother's endless ranting about her social awkwardness (after all they are siblings, you have to expect them to have something in common, right?). 

❋ Although she looks cool and calm on the outside, and her attitude reminds people of a little princess, Kyuhae hides much more inside her vulnerable heart. All the things she experienced in her past left deep scratches and bruises inside of her, she is not really fond of being loved, since all of it might become what her parents went through. She never promises anyone anything, because she is scared that she can never make it. By creating a tough shell outside, Kyuhae hopes that she can protect herself, and the ones she loves.

❋ When referring to the famous Kwak family, the first thing people think about is wealth. Kyuhae grew up being raised like a little princess, her world full of everything she wants and everything she hates was made sure to be kept away from her. But there are many things that they don't know. First, Kwak Taesook is not a family man as he always act on televisions. That parliamentarian, he cares nothing about his family, about his beautiful wife and two lovely kids. Everything Taesook ever wanted is to be more of this, more of that. He wants to be richer, more powerful, more famous, more everything. But the word "family" disappeared in his vocabulary a long time ago. Kyuhae sometimes wonders if her father knew about her any more. To her, the image of a father is something blurry and distant, and very likely to be unreachable.

❋ Mrs. Kwak, or the infamous Shin Haeyoo, stands her life much more differently. As beautiful as she is, Haeyoo thinks that life is all about experiencing new things and having lots and lots of fun. This living motto seems to affect her love life the most. This woman, despite her seemingly wonderful family, has tons and tons of secret lovers, and she changes them like a teenage girl changes her clothes. Every night it's a different man brought to her luxurious bedroom. Every night it's the sound of screams and moans of pleasure echoing across the house. Every night it's Taesook slamming the main door violently and drives his cars downtown for some shot glasses, and perhaps some lovers of his own. Every night it's Kyuhae sitting on her own bed, drenched in her abyss of solitude and pain. She doesn't even dare to go outside any more, ever since that night when she saw her mother groaning and screaming in a stranger's arms. Aron couldn't stand living under the same roof, so he left for studying in the States. It's no doubt, although Kyuhae can't define her feelings towards her father, she absolutely hates her mother. Referring to Shin Haeyoo, Kyuhae uses the term "that woman". She once wrote in her diary: "Now that woman is just a e when I look at her. That woman, she could have been a better wife and a better mother for us. She could, if she controlled herself. Or better yet, she shouldn't have got married at all. That way Aron and I wouldn't have to see this world, and we wouldn't have to endure this too. I thought that term was just an insult before, but now, 'daughter of a ' actually means something to me. I swear, if I have a chance to kill her, I would. The blood running through my veins is half hers, but I think I can live with just half the amount of blood for the rest of my life. "

❋ There is no word that Kyuhae can use to fully describe Youngmin, her big brother, or Aron as he would like to be called. Aron is very this, and very that. He was the first, and only one, of the two to have a rebellious act again his family. Aron left for higher education, and is now fully supporting himself. Despite the distance between them, Aron remains being her only true family. A bit conversative-minded and overprotective, but yet confident and caring, Aron is the perfect type of brother Kyuhae could ever dreamt of. Sometimes he pisses her off with all of his nagging: Kyu, get outside and make some friends! Kyu, go to sleep early!, but she really loves him with all her heart. Emphasizing it a little bit, Kyuhae says that she would do anything for Aron.

❋ Kyuhae, at the age of eleven, started suffering from dysthymia. It's been quite a long time since she saw her mother in her bedroom that late night, but the image and the sound keep haunting her head. It just feels like a never-ending movie playing again and again inside her head, until it finally succeeded in driving her crazy. That one night when she found herself writing poems with a pen unconsciously, she felt like doing something different. And stabbing her wrist with a dried out pen seemed to be  interesting enough. She did it, and she enjoyed every tiny moment of it. The tingling pain from her wrist, the ghostly scent of blood, the dizziness caused by loss of blood. Everything. For that one short moment Kyuhae had actually gone crazy, and unknowingly, she walked out of the Kwak mansion. That's where she met Yoobin, returning back from her nightly job. Kyuhae immediately recognized the older, and begged her to take her along. Yoobin reluctantly agreed, and abandoned Kyuhae in the middle of the journey, but as a clever little girl she is, Kyuhae did some researches about SASA and secretly enrolled.

Kyuhae's background is one of the brightest ones in SASA, so many don't understand why she chose to be an assassin. When asked about the problem, she just shrugs and replies "I enjoy the sight of blood. This job, it just feels right to me.".

❋ At first, Kyuhae was relatively influenced by Yoobin and wanted to become an Uranus Solar Assassin, but seeing that Taeyeon shared much more in common with her, she decided to become a Mercury Solar Assassin instead.

On the other hand, when the victim has something related to her mother, Kyuhae becomes almost crazy in the act of killing. Hatred was deep in her blood, and it seems like she doesn't even make the effort to escape from it.

Just by some of his tricks (often used to hit on girls), Kyuhae's heart melted a bit for him, and they have been best friends ever since.

Kyuhae seems to be interested in her fellow lady assasin's boyish characteristics, and she likes spending time with the latter a lot. Uranus is just perfect for her as a friend, someone calm and leader-like enough to stop most of her random acts.

relationship ⋮ Kyuhae always thinks of Jongin as a stupid drop-out from university. She doesn't even understand why someone like him can be able to get a job in a big university like that, but soon she figures out that Jongin comes from a wealthy and powerful family, and it was no difficulty for him to get a job almost everywhere he wants. But he chooses Seoul University's library. Why? It turns out that they met a long time ago in the past, and Kyuhae had given him her one of her most treasured belongings to help him ease the bruise from his family's dark past. It might seem cheesy, but Jongin fell in love at first sight with a six-year-old girl, and found her some times later, all thanks to her precious guitar pick bracelet. Later in the future, Kyuhae is to kill Jongin's family, and he witnesses it with his own true eyes. The love he has for her quickly turns into hatred, but something inside of him just can't stand the act of hating Kyuhae. It is his heart, yearning for love.

But her heart grows fonder for Wufan every time they meet up, even when that meeting chance lasts for only a tiny moment. However, young and unexperienced in love as Kyuhae is, she tends to have the thought that Wufan is all hers and acts quite overly protective when it comes to him, which brought her quite a large amount of enemies. 

desired ending ⋮ Finally Kyuhae has a chance to curse her looks when Hyunseung confesses his love for her. Stucking in a dilemma, she can't decide between breaking Hyunseung's heart or Jongin (Wufan)'s, and chose the most cowardly option. She ran away from both of them, breaking not only their hearts, but also her own. 

Later on after she gives the Mercury Solar Assassin title away to her hoobae, Kyuhae falls in love with another person and marries him. It isn't true love, it's just that she thinks she is too old to search for another one, and decides to settle down with the best one at that time. Kyuhae stays best friends with Hyunseung, but never talks Jongin (Wufan) again. It turns out that he falls for another Solar Assassin (or he can reunite with his ex, something) and they are having a happy life together. Kyuhae, with her first love taking its toll on her, still watches every of his actions caringly, always ready for when he needs her to be there.
