“No. 1 master of Korean folk dance” Mdm Gong Ok Jin (81) passed away due to a on the morning of 9 July, however girl group’s 2NE1 promotion schedules will go on as planned.

Just 5 days ago, 2NE1 has resumed activities with the release of their new single “I LOVE YOU”, yet merely 4 days later, unfortunate news came. Mdm Gong Ok Jin is the great-aunt of 2NE1 member, Gong Minji. The photo above was taken during the time in which Mdm Gong was battling her illness and was released to the public through Gong Minji’s me2day.

However, 2NE1 plans to proceed with the promised schedules as planned. An official from 2NE1′s agency, YG Entertainment, told enews through the phone this morning: “The funeral procession will proceed calmly. Gong Minji is currently with her family and the funeral procession has been prepared to set off from Jeonnam province (where the city of Gwangju is located). The schedule (for 2NE1) that has been planned is expected to proceed according to plan.”

The funeral for the deceased is scheduled to be held for 3 days, but the planned broadcast schedule will not be changed as it is a promise to fans.2NE1 is scheduled to perform on 12 and 15 July at Mnet Mcountdown and SBS Inkigayo respectively.

I hate YG he should cancel some plans because Minzy right Now need her Family to keep supportimçng eachother. But NO YG want to continue with ALL the plans (ppl say thay he had been cancel some plans but this is the tru he had say).
