She is very funny and weird but will only show this side of her to her friends. Serri has a VERY big heart and is very forgiving. She doesn't like putting the blame on others so she always takes the blame. She also is a very strong person. She doesn't show any emotions when someone(like an anti-fan) offends her but if someone like her boyfriend hurts her, she will lock herself up and cry and try to think of what she did wrong. How you knew the love interest: Before coming to Korea, Serri met Jessica and Krystal at school. The two became really close friends with Serri, but they had to go to Korea to become trainees and pursue their dreams. Serri came to Korea a year after they left. She was on her way to SMEnt to drop off lunch for the two girls, when she became lost. Luhan, who was on his way back from the bathroom, saw that she was lost. He asked her where she was going and she told him that she was on her way to see her friends. He told her where to go and that was when they parted. A few months later, after f(x) had debuted, Serri went to a bakery to buy Krystal a cake to congratulate her. There, she bumps into Luhan at a bakery. He was buying a cake for Amber. They walked together to SMEnt and became good friends. Luhan challenged her to a dance competition, thinking she wasn't good at dancing, but it turned out that she was good at b-boying. He was planning to confess to her that day,and he did. And Serri accepted his feelings.

Trainee background: When coming to Korea, she became curious to her surroundings. She was walking to random places when she found herself at an underground rapping competition held every saturday. She went and watched many of the people freestyle rapping. She became inspired by these people that she wanted to try herself. She went home that night and she taught herself how to rap. She practiced for months and months, until she returned to the competition. She went on stage for the first time. Since she looked so innocent, the MC thought she would do so well, but after seeing her performance, (here) he was surprised. At the scene, there was a MagicEnt scouting manager and he asked to talk to her for a little bit. He asked her if she wanted to join the entertainment to be put under training for a future girlgroup. She wasn't hesitant to say yes. She trained for 2 years.
