Personality: To teachers Jung Saemi is the ideal student. She is hardworking and they admire her work ethic. They believe that she puts in her 101% when doing something and it shows with her consistent grades. To others, Saemi is just another smart girl who just sems to get more higher test scores than them. Because they don't know her well they view her as a nerd. Saemi is smart but she doesn't seem to acknowledge it. She believes that people can get her grades easily if they try. Saemi believes that hard work and good grades will make life easier for one and she tries to make her life easier by studying. Saemi feels most comfortable when talking about something educational. It doesn't matter if that person is the queenka; if they are paired up together for a project Saemi feels like she can easily communicate with her about it.
Despite this, Saemi is socially awkward. Although she can communicate with someone on an educational level; making friends for her is the toughest thing in the world. She feels very uncomfortable talking to new people or anyone she barely knows. She tries to avoid situations like that by staying at home and doing something else. She tries to become a hermit but always fails because peer pressure doesn't let her. Her friends always try to help her get out of that shell. They're worried that if she continues to be this shy it might break her. Her friends view her as this sweet dorky girl who is very helpful. Once she likes something she gives it her whole heart. So once she falls in love she might fall really hard and if she doesn't break out of her shyness it might be bad.
Backround History:
Saemi was born to two succesful business owners in Ulsan. For the first half od her schooling experience she was homeshooled by the tutors her parents hired. She was virtually secluded from the real world because of this and it molded her shyness. Nonetheless her tutors recognised the fact that she was a very intelligent girl from the start and when she was ten they concinced her parents to put her into regular schooling. Saemi started private school that same year and had a hard time adjusting. Not to the rules, but with people her own age. Her whole life, she had been surrounded by people whom older or younger than her but never her age. She was quite fascinated by her classmates but no one really acknowledged her much. They all labeled her as a nerd and she had zero friends. In middle school, the pattern continued for the first two years but then another transfer student entered and Saemi had enough guts to introduce herself. Slowly after that she gained a lot more friends.
