I decided it was better to post here than your wall so I'm writing here instead :) I just... I don't know I've read the books three times already and I don't regret spending my time on them. Yes, they provide you nothing new and in fact now that I've read them a couple of times I can see the connection with fanfiction with cliffhangers in the end of the chapters, but it hasn't stopped me from reading. It might be lacking, but as a reader and a writer myself I don't judge the story by it's writing. It's entertaining and that's why I'm reading them. It also might be that I find the plot in the story very close to a fantasy that I believe some of us might have... Character development... Well Christian makes the most progress and Ana even changes from a shy girl to a powerful business woman who can stand up to Christian... I don't know I just... *ruffles hair* I admit being a ert for first reading it for that reason only, but it also holds a story of a broken man and a vulnerable woman who complete each other... I don't know I find it romantic somehow *shrugs* The writing is really close to fanfiction and maybe that's why I like reading it in the first place. It's funny because the book is the same with Harry Potters and Twilights...

You either hate it or you love it :) That's the thing with best seller books... It can't please everybody, but there's people who find it entertaining and fun :) I, myself is part of the fans who love the books... :)

It's fine if you don't like it, we all have our different opinions, but it doesn't stop us from loving the things that are close to our heart ^^ It's the same with Kpop... It's a fandom that we fans know about and we love our idols, but outsiders judge us because there is boybands and girl groups which basically in western music are almost dead :)

I have to disagree with you in some level... The writing is not good yes, but I was drawn instantly to the story :) It's a best seller because it contains a fantasy almost every woman wants to read. I was captivated and I've read the books twice already which means six books in total in the past week... I don't mind it being a Twilight fanfic as I can't even imagine it to be one... I like it *shrugs*

I think the reason why its a best seller is becuase middle-aged women who aren't a part of any fandoms, get to read (-__-/)
