1st Person vs 3rd Person

I've discoverd that 1st Person vs 3rd Person is quite the debatable topic on AFF o.O

And yet, all of my writing is that whole switchy switchy POV shebang... /sobz ; ___ ; I want to test my skills and write in the 3rd person but LOL I don't wanna switch it up in the middle of the fic, nor do I want to screw up.

What's your take on 1st Person vs 3rd Person?

I switch mine, but i label it
EX:
In one chapter, i'd put in BIG LETTERS: YOSEOB'S POV, then later, i might change it up saying, NO ONE'S POV

Personal preference, plus which ever you're better at. You just found out it's such a.. Discussed topic? Personally, it depends on how you want to tell your story. If third person is the way to go, go with it. If that naive, clueless first person pov of a teenage girl is how you wanna roll, by all means. Now, the time where it's really hard to choose.... When either of them would work. Honestly, switching povs aren't that bad. If it doesn't happen every sentence or two paragraphs. I've been trying to improve my writing recently... Cliche plots, oh my.... I never knew I actually knew them until someone pointed it out. Did that last sentence make sense?
