Here's the breakdown people: it all comes down to the "The Boys" teaser photos/concept:

• Taeyeon --> Snow White --> she's super pale O.O --> felt like telepathy would be cool
• Jessica --> Swan Princess --> swans --> wings
• Sunny --> Little Red Riding Hood --> there's a wolf --> werewolf
• Tiffany --> Little Mermaid --> mermaid --> gills/sea creature communication
• Hyoyeon --> Thumbelina --> tiny size --> able to grow/shrink
• Yuri --> "This Pokemon has not been encountered yet!"
• Sooyoung --> Rapunzel --> stuck in a tower/skyscraper --> able to phase through walls (that's why she fell, people xD)
• Yoona --> Prince Charming --> sword --> "master swordswoman" (i'll explain this more in another chapter...)
• Seohyun --> "This Pokemon has not been enountered yet!"
   

Clearly, I put a lot of thought into this, lol. As for the guys well... mostly, I gave them their specific powers for it to be useful to the story. The only exception would be Wooyoung.

As y’all very well know, I’m a hardcore WooTae shipper. I thought it’d be cute if Taeyeon and Wooyoung matched up their powers a little bit.

Taeyeon --> Snow White --> Snow White & the Huntsman --> Huntsman --> bows, arrows, insanely awesome aim --> Wooyoung. Comprennez-vous?
His character is also very much inspired by Hawkeye of the Avengers.
