PERSONALITY:

General: Byeol thinks differently than others and always makes weird comments. She is a loner, she doesn’t get along with others that much. She doesn’t talk and listen to her iPod most of the time. She has mysterious aura which is one of her charms. She doesn’t like to be compared and always tries her best to impress others.

When she gets attached to a person, she really cares about them and didn’t want to lose him/her.  She is an easy going person when you get to know her. She is the one who keeps the mood light and made people laugh. She is good at making people laugh or annoyed with her random comments. She touches someone’s hair as a sign that she feels close to them. When she is sad or angry she prefers to be left alone.

She acts or talks without thinking and always blurts out whatever in her mind. She didn’t like to think of small matters or problems. Under the 4D personality, Byeol has a fragile heart. Background History: Byeol was born in Canada and lived there until she was 12. Her parents got divorced and she followed her father to Seoul and started a new life. She had always have interest in singing and she was blessed with powerful vocal and sweet voice. She wanted to audition and be a singer but her father against it very much. Byeol was a top student and her father wanted her to study and get a good job instead of being a singer.

At the age of 14, she was scouted by Park Jin Young himself after winning a singing competition. She begged and pleaded her father and promised him that she will keep her grades good. Her father allowed her to train under JYP reluctantly. She left JYP after being dropped from Wonder Girls line-up.

In 2008, when she was 17 her father recommended her to audition in SM since he noticed how empty she was after leaving JYP. She was accepted as an SM trainee and was supposed to debut with f(x) but was replaced with Krystal. After 4 years of training, she finally made her debut with CW.

Personality: Lay is mischievous and naughty around Byeol. He likes to disturb Byeol when she was writing poems or listening to music. Lay always makes funny remarks to make Byeol laughs and happy. She is comfortable around Lay and called him by his real name, Yixing. Lay is forgetful and he has Byeol to remind him what he has to do/bring.

How did you meet: Kris introduced Lay to Byeol and it actually took quite sometimes for Byeol to open up to him. Lay had his eyes on her on her first day in SM. He likes to watch her listening to music and has a crush on her.

 

RIVAL:

Byeol didn’t have a rival but she did have a hard feeling on Krystal when she replaced her in f(x). But she shook it off long ago and improves herself to be a better person.

TRAINEE LIFE:

How did you get into SM Ent.?: Audition.

Trainee Life: Most of trainees in SM are very competitive and aren’t as friendly as those in JYP’s. Byeol was all alone until Amber came and smiled at her. She was known as ‘Sohee’s Doppleganger’ among the trainees. Although she has powerful vocal, her dancing skill wasn’t good. Even when she was in JYP, her dance instructor always scolded her. Her dancing skill improves over the year she had trained in SM.

Trainee Period: 2 years in JYP and 4 years in SM

Experience(s): She made her acting debut in Athena: Goddess of War as an Athena agent. She was the girl with Andy who attacked NTS with the bomb.
