To those who are interested in publishing their stories online, here is a guide on How to Publish an eBook. I found the link in a writing forum and I thought some of you might want to check it out; just to have an idea on where to publish, how to convert files, etc. complete with links ^-^ I am referring to originals. I don't know how it works for fanfics but apparently, some were able to publish fanfiction. 

And this one is on the formatting of your manuscript for your agent. I should warn you though, just as how my sister's teachers in writing did, there is no money in writing. There. Well, I guess, if you are just starting...just like how it is with every first job, we start at the bottom. I am just blessed to skip the technician level and jumped into researcher after graduation from my BS. (oooh, I miss my salary xD)

I don't have plans of publishing (at least, right now) but I was just curious on how it works so I looked it up. You will need an editor and I hope you you know to use Photoshop or GIMP because your book needs a cover. It will save you lots if you know how to make your own book cover. 

Advertisement is key. There should be a strategy on how to attract readers (If I find it, I'll share it, lol). One posted it first in wattpad and when she gained lots of readers, she then published it, knowing that people are reading her work. You might want to create an online "fanbase" first, lol. Don't worry, somebody out there is bound to read and like your story so just write it without thinking too much about readers' preferences. Besides, it's impossible to please everyone.
