First off, I just want to thank all of you for your sweet words, concerns and condolences towards our horrid house fire ^^ I know a lot of you were concerned judging by the messages/comments you've left, and it really means a lot to me ^^. Since we learned more about what happened in the fire, I can fill you all in now; especially since I'm not exactly in the state of shock I was when it first happened.

Anyway, what happened was I was sitting up on the computer working on chapter 15 of Miseria Cantare in the living room (I'm 100% serious about that XD). It was about...10:30 pm at night, and since I have horrid insomnia, it was still what I considered 'early' so I was wide awake while my grandmother was asleep in her room (for those that don't know, I live with my grandmother because I take care of her and clean the house).

Then suddenly, the power in the entire house went out, knocking out the TV, the lamp I had on, the heater in the bathroom, my laptop charger, and the internet; now, this happened a lot at my grandmother's house because really, the wiring wasn't the best at all and not up to code, so if we had too much plugged in at once, sometimes the breaker would blow so we'd have to mess with it to get it back on. With that being said, that's what I thought it was, so I went and woke up my grandma to ask her to come outside with me to the power box and turn it back on manually; on my way into her bedroom, I started smelling smoke, but I figured it was just someone burning their farming fields not too far away since that's what people do in my town during the summer because we're a farming city. But, after I woke up my grandma and we walked into the kitchen to go out back, I kept smelling the smoke getting stronger and stronger; and then when we went outside (with my grandma's Pomeranian on a leash because he's a nut and thinks he has to go outside with us all the time) the smoke smell was horribly strong, and when I looked up onto the roof, I could see smoke literally billowing out from under the shingles and all that.

We were confused as to what happened, and as soon as we went back inside the house, it was literally filled with smoke. My grandma started panicking because it was pretty obvious that there was somehow a fire in the attic, and she started running around the house trying to get necessities to evacuate while telling me to call my mom and then call 911, which I did. I made sure that my grandma and her dog got outside safely, but as I was on the phone with the 911 operator (who demanded I stay on the line with her, by the way, which made things difficult on my end) I had to go around and collect our two cats to make sure they got outside safely.

I got my cat, Sophie, out first, since she was in my room and I was the only one that could coax her out; I found her under my bed and (while cussing and yelling, which I'm sure the operator enjoyed hearing) grabbed her before pulling her out and going outside and putting her in my grandma's Jeep as my grandma waited on the sidewalk for the cops. Then, I grabbed my laptop and threw that in too, and then as the cops arrived, I ran back inside to get my grandma's cat, Socks. However, Socks is a pain in the backside and kept running away from me, so I was literally chasing her around the smoke-filled house while an officer was yelling at me from the doorway to get out of there (to which I promptly responded with "I'm not leaving without the damn cat"); so, the officer then helped me corner Socks and he grabbed her before shoving her into my arms and pushing me out of the house.

We got into my grandma's Jeep like the officers said and drove up to the end of the block; then, my mom and her husband showed up and my grandma left me in the jeep with the animals to stand outside with them, which was how it was for about 3 hours as we watched the house burn and the firefighters try to stop it. After we gave our statements on what happened to the fire marshal, we were permitted to leave, and we then went to my mom's house and stayed the night there.

I guess the firefighters were fighting the fire for about 5 hours until it finally stopped, and now the only rooms left untouched by the blaze are our bedrooms; other than that, the living room, bathroom, and kitchen are entirely destroyed, not to mention that we have like...no roof now. Anyway, they said the damages are estimated at $95,000, the neighbors all said they were shocked that any of us even came out of it alive let alone all of us including the pets. Currently, we are staying in a hotel for about a month, and insurance is paying for it all as well as the repairs and whatnot, so it's just going to take time for normal life to ensue.

What caused the fire (that we barely found out a couple of days ago) was a wire spark within the attic, which set all of the insulation (which we found out was just shredded newspaper) on fire, and thus it was just an electrical cause.

Anyway, things are going okay :] we have all the basic necessitites, so no one needs to worry or anything ^^ it's still shocking and upsetting, but at least we're alive and that's the most important part. I just wanted to fill all of you in on what happened since I know a ton of you were curious ^^.

Anyway, on to something a lot of people have been asking about: The SkyRipper & The SeaDancer.

I haven't given up on that story, I'm just going to say that to reassure all of you ._. but lately I've been in such an angsty, angsty mood that I haven't had the inspiration to work on it lately. But I swear to you I haven't given up on it, I just need to find my flow again for it :] thank you all for being so patient with that, by the way, I really appreciate it ^^.

I have posters for these three already made, by the way >.>. I think that means I'm a wee bit excited for them.

As for the YesungxOC story, I still need more opinions on that ._. I have an outline written up and title picked out, but I'm still not sure how many people would read it or not, so let me know ^^.

The current things I'm working on are Seven Years and chapter four of Lunacy Fringe, the latter of which is almost complete as we speak and I'm really, really excited to get out there for a few reasons >.>. Hopefully you all are too :D

Edit: Oh, and since a few have asked, Miseria Cantare will end at about 20 chapters and then an epilogue chapter :]. Lunacy Fringe will be about 10 chapters give or take a couple ^^.
