Describe her personality: Kyujin has a soothing demeanor and is hardworking. She achieves her goals with patience and never gives up. She is determined and passionate about her work and she is fiercely stubborn when it comes to giving up. She is confident in her work but can be uncertain sometimes. She doesn't worry about the future, she always lives in the moment, and has a sense of cheerful optimism about her. When she gets angry she has a fierce temper but she gets over her anger quickly. She is motherly and likes to take care of other people but she can be somewhat forgetful. She likes to daydream (that's how she comes up with most of her designs) and create her own reality. She is grounded when she's working but otherwise she has her head up in the clouds. Kyujin is very organized and hates disorder and keeps all of her designs neat. Family background and history: She was born in Brisbane, Australia and has one younger brother. Both of her parents are alive but her mother isn't really around her. She grew up with her father taking care of her because her mother hadn't wanted a daughter. When her brother was born he quickly became her mother's favorite. However Kyujin didn't resent him, if anything she became more protective of him. She was taught how to play the piano by a friend and she taught her brother, who then learned how to sing and play guitar. She studied hard and became interested in fashion at a young age and by the time she was in middle school she had begun making her own clothes. Her father taught her Korean and at school she learned Mandarin. She was a quick study in languages but her intrest was with fashion. Her brother studied hard to please their mother but he really wanted to be a singer. He got accepted into a dental program and upon his acceptance he auditioned to be a singer. In 2008 she and her brother moved to Seoul. He worked as a singer and she enrolled in an arts college. She had already completed a year in college but she now focused on design. She created her own line of clothes, mainly for her friends, and then her clothes were given to SM for their new boy group upon request of her teacher. They hired her as a general wardrobe manager and she created clothes for the groups to wear.
