usually, i use the real story that i ever had or i ever look, but i gave many jokes inside, so it's not 100% real story, travelling and visit many places, spacing out and imagining something that maybe impossible can give you many ideas, too

I usually plan ahead. I have a word document open to add ideas to my story. For example, for the EXO fic I am writing now, I have 40 dot points. Each dot point can be a few words or maybe even a few sentences and each point becomes a chapter in my story. Sometimes I have to have 'filler' chapters in between those dot points though because it doesn't flow or something. Hope this helps? ^^

i plan while writing. And sometimes I plan while im showering. and after I shower I immediately start writing. I listen to songs and see if i have any ideas in that it works for me. I update almost everyday cuz i'm bored.
Sometimes you just need to lie in bed and then think and daydream. that's how I think of new story ideas and stuff. Or you could roleplay it out with someone who knows the story to plan it. I do it with my cousin It really helps!!

People who update fast have their story's plot well thought out, meaning that they already know what they want to happen and they have events in a specific order. Which is why we have people who update several times a day.

For the people who want to update faster, not necessarily several times a day, should look for inspiration outside. Like going places such as a park or coffee shop. Also, don't force yourself to update. Sometimes I do that and the chapter doesn't come out as good as I wanted it to. But sometimes if I put myself under "Pressure" like pretending like I have a deadline, I get ideas!

Everyone has creativity, they just output it in different ways. Sometimes an idea may come to you when you're not near your laptop, computer, or what ever device you use to type chapters. So you should keep a pencil and notebook with you at all times :) You can write ideas, drabble a storyline, even draw. This helps one constantly stimulate creativity throughout the day because many writers use things and situations from their everyday lives to create awesome stories.

Inspiration, for me, comes from anywhere but I've been having the same problem as you. I even subscribed to this one fic called "100/101 ways to overcome writer's block" or something like that. I know how you feel though. What have you used to try to overcome it??

Plan ahead while writing. If you take some time to think everything over, you aren't stuck with writer's block or lack or inspiration.

@Hotchocolate65 yeah i love those people who update really fast. like two a day or something. i like try to make a good chapter and like add a lot of stuff but then i run out of ideas

I know what you mean. I haven't updated any of mine in like forever. I can't think of anything anymore T^T I really look up to people who update almost everyday.
