Graduation News

I am officially out of high school! All my friends and I are so excited!

My counselor told me it would hit me on Sunday and I would be crying my eyes out. It’s Monday and I’m still like:

Graduation wasn’t all that pretty. The day before (on Friday), we had to a rehearsal. When I left my house it was nice and breezy, but when I got to the field it was the complete opposite. The sun was blazing down, the wind was gone, and I was freaking stupid for choosing to wear black that day. We sat there for like three hours listening to our principal like this:

He. Just. Wouldn’t. Stop. Talking!

We just all want him to hurry the up and then he told us that tomorrow won’t be as long as today and should go by faster.

I was like, “Oh, really?”

So I finally get home and when I do the fist reaction I get from Locket is:

“You look like a lobster!!”

“Really, you want to go there?”

Graduation day came and I was so ing embarrassed, but when I walk in:

Oh, yeah! Everyone looked like me.

It was the most boring ceremony of life. It was rehearsal all over again with me sitting there bored out of my mind.

Of course when they called my name I walked up there and grabbed my diploma book, shook all their hands, and sat back in my seat as I prayed for all this to be over soon.

I finally had my diploma. Proof that I had graduated high school. I opened my book and:

This world is just full of empty promises.

Turns out I have to pick it up next week. -.-
