Family background:

She was from the rich and respected family, which is the Ahn Family. Her father's a Lawyer and her mother's a dance teacher. Although her family doesn't have any 'relationship' with music and only dancing, her father and mother loves singing [They do it as a hobby and not as a part of their work].

He has this diva-ish attitude that irritates Minmi. He always nags at her, she doesn't even know why. Deep inside, he really likes Minmi. He nags at her at the most littlest things that Minmi doesn't even notice because he cares for her. He's always honest with her that sometimes it hurts her, but it's only for her good. He may be known as SHINee's most honest member but he just can't tell Minmi his feelings. He's afraid he might get rejected. That's why the only way to be close to her is to annoy her.

Trainee story: 

Her mother owns a dancing school in Korea. SM was finding trainees at that time. They saw Minmi's mother's dancing school and said they wanted to see what their student got. Being competitive was Minmi's nature. She wanted to challenge herself. She wanted other people to judge if she really has talent or none. On that day, Lee Sooman smiled at Minmi's performance. Which only means one thing, she's in. Many people didn't believe that she was talented. They thought that Sooman just picked her because of her beautiful face. But when SM held a singing contest (the one that Xiumin entered and the reason why he got picked as a trainee) All of their assumptions of her are wrong. She was absolutely mesmerizing. Her voice was heavenly to the ears. And when she danced during practice (to prove them they're wrong) Her charisma was blazing.

Her trainee days weren't that hard since she coped up pretty fast. She just hates it when other trainees refuses to talk with her. They say it's because she's intimidating/she looks scary.
