SMTOWN v.s YGFAMILY

Ok, so me and KoreansAreHot are talking about which entertainment company is better. YG or SM. it started with her posting on Facebook:

KoreansAreHot: I love how SM calls themselves a family, but all of the other (Korean) record labels look at their groups and let them go in their own direction. Why can't there be a YG Family, or a LO Family? It's so messed up :/ SM has their groups do stuff together. SM has albums JUST by everyone in the entertainment. There may be some songs wtih 2 groups from the same label singing together, but no where NEAR as much as SM. Like the song 'S.E.O.U.L' promoting the capitol of South Korea (Seoul). I mean, seriously? Where's the love?

when I saw that I was like " hhm. she don't know. this chick needs to get her facts straight" so i commented 

Me:no no no their is YGFamily hun. that's where BIGBANG IS FROM! THAT'S MY FAVE ENTERTAINMENT GROUP BC NON OF THE PEOPLE FROM THERE FAINT ON STAGE AND KRYSTAL FROM SM IS CONSTANTLY PASSING OUT. YG IS MUCH MUCH MUCH MORE BETTER THAN SM. THANK YOU VERY MUCH AND HAVE A NICE DAY  

KoreansAreHot:  I've NEVER heard of YG Family, only YG Entertainment. The only groups I know from YG is Big Bang, 2NE1, and Seven. The others (I just looked them up) are Psy, Tablo, and Gummy. There is NO song, that I am aware of, that has them all singing together like SM does! SM is MUCH BETTER than YG since they are a FAMILY!

Me:one: there is a YGFamily (look it up!) 2: they have lots of songs together 3: the president of there comany treats them right (you don't see any of the YG members passing out on stage from exhaustion) 4: YG may not have as many people but everybody apart of that company loves each other 5: in super junior nobody liked kyuhyun when he first came 6: minho and key got into a huge fight and didn't talk even after 2 of debuting 7: YGFamily has a whole special on strong heart (SM doesn't cuz they're not close enough) . WHERE'S THE LOVE SM? WHERE'S THE LOVE? 

KoreansAreHot:Really now? REALLY? SM is way better than YG. SM's people are passing out because that's how much effort they're putting into their performances. I haven't heard of any songs from YG that have them singing together. Like I said, there may be a couple out there, but not that I know of. SM treats them well! It's not their fault if their members can't handle everything. They're not invinsible! Maybe YG people aren't passing out because they don't care enough to go on with their practices and work until it's perfect. Do they have dance practices? I don't really know of Big Bang songs that require dancing. Like 'Strong Baby' by Seungri only requires moving your hands for the dance. Even Nena agrees that she doesn't know any Big Bang songs that have dances to it! No wonder they're not passing out, they don't do anything but sing! SuJu didn't like Kyuhyun at first because they don't like change! Look at them now. They love him! Who wouldn't love their maknae?! Minho and Key - that's an example of REAL PEOPLE. You can't force your members to like eachother, like with Kyuhyun! And again, LOOK AT THEM NOW! SM is a family! If they're not close enough, then how come they always go on tours together? 'SMTown - Live in New York, Japan, Paris, etc.' Sure, they may have the Super Shows with just Super Junior, but they're still a family. Every family needs a break from eachother once in a while. I've heard of the Big Shows, but never 'YG Entertainment - Live in ___' Where's the love there YG? WHERE IS IT?

Me:  LOOK HUN YG DOES HAVE SONGS TOGETHER! LOOK THEM UP! and girl you are using some true fighting words. WE WILL FINISH THIS CONVO WHEN YOU LOOK UP YGFAMILY AND GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT CUZ EVERTHING YOU JUST SAID B.S AND LIES. YG ARE THE UNDERDOGS, UNDERDOGS ALWAYS BUST THEIR . BIGBANG DANCE WAY BETTER THAN SHINee AND SUJU. UNTIL YOU FIND THE TRUTH AND GET TO KNOW YG I WILL NOT FINISH THIS CONVO WITH YOU. OH AND THEIR ARE YGFAMILY TOURS SO SHUT-UP CUZ U DON'T KNOW. ^_^

I don't care if you say "I like SM better than YG" or "SM is better than YG" but DO NOT say stuff like " there is no YGFamily" just don't say that. if you don't know then hush up. if you like starship ent, GREAT. if you think CUBE is the best. AWESOME. But don't talk smack on other companies. i like all the companies. YG is jusy my favorite. unless you got cold hard facts, i suggest you keep quite. you might get stopped in the mud........with a dirty boot........just saying.

who is your fave entertainment group. i don't care if it's not YG just don't disrespect other companies 

and remeber kiddos TALK , GET HIT

SM Town is the umbrella name for the recording artists under South Korean entertainment company S.M. Entertainment. SM Town artists have performed at the annual SM Town Live world tours since the SM Town Live '08 Asia tour in 2008.

Sorry I just saw this now and I can't help but to get angry about what KoreansAreHot said about YG Ent. Girl SM is called SMTown and YG is called YGFamily.And to prove that to you YG takes care of their artists better than SM ever did. Have you even read the article regarding the departure of the 3members of EXO, Kris,Luhan and Tao?. Kris left because he was already having health problems and he once said that he had to continue their-i think it was EXO promotions while under medication. Then Luhan it was also the same,he left SM Ent. because of health problems.Then the last is Tao, he once had to continue their concert even though he had an injury the day before that... So now YOU tell us that SM is better than YG....



P.S YG has Family concerts and as proof search it up YG Family and SMTown

You people do realize that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, right? And uneducated? Excuse me for stating my OPINION. I LOLed so hard when I saw that comment. I never thought I should be worried about someone bringing this into the public eye because I hoped one would be mature enough to say what they want and be on their own way.

I do enjoy all companies but YG is my favourite. That doesn't mean however that I don't enjoy SM or TS(BAP is one of my fav groups) etc. I wish people were intelligent enough to not attack other companies like that without knowing the facts. KoreansAreHot had no right to call out those companies without knowing the facts. YG lets their artists have freedom in their music, so they can not only grow as people but as artists as well. There are many songs that also include multiple YG artists like Lollipop, Born Hater, Up, the leaders, oh yeah etc. also in live performances YG artists will sometimes substitute for the original singers like in happen ending. All in all, kpop in itself is a family so we should do the best to respect and love each company and artist.

SM artists faint due to EXHAUSTION! If you notice, in their live performances they seem to be really tired since the agency barely gives them breaks... While YG artists manage to focus on their stage performance, which I think is why they have (so far in my opinion) the best stage presence.
If you compare YG's GD to anyone else in SM, they don't seem to be earning as much as we expect(greedy CEO!) while Jaejoong is now residing at one of the most expensive apartments after getting out of SMEnt.

No one is better . It's just that SM Artists are slightly more popular . Krystal didn't faint because of exhaustion , she fainted because when she gets sick , she get really weak . She had said she was fine . So she performed . But in reality , she wasn't okay . She had this disorder that makes her faint sometimes , there's nothing she or Lee SooMan can do .

So I guess in Super Junior's 'Superman' song, they CLEARLY say, "SM Family" for s and giggles? SMTown is just another name like SMent. So you're telling me that Big Bang as a WHOLE can dance by using GD and Taeyang? Seriously? If they're so 'closely knit' then why are you guys seperating and singling them out? And we're talking about YG, not just Big Bang. Yes, Big Bang is part of YG, but what happened to 2NE1? They can dance, right? SM and YG are both hard workers, but I just think that SM puts in more effort. Thus, the passing out. Yes, that's not a good thing, but practice makes perfect and how can you practice if you're taking breaks all of the time? I agree, maybe they could use more breaks, but I / we can't control what SM does with their people. If you're as popular as SM, I don't think that everything that needs to be handled will come to mind right away. They have other things to worry about. They can't check on their members when it's the members THEMSELVES that should be taking the responsibility to say when something is wrong, not complain about how they're treated.
(To Korneli406) And by the way, this was OUR arguement. Not everybody else's. If I cared about what they had to say, I would have posted that on AFF myself.

She does know that SM does NOT call themselves "SM Family" right? They are called SM TOWN and YG IS YG Family, they have the YG Family concert every year. and big bang does dance, GD and Taeyang used to b-boy. Like really?

Hmm. I do agree there is more to SM,
and SM may be more popular, but YG is more
close knit, and there's the caring atmosphere between
everyone there.
Don't get me wrong, I love both, but the YG Family
seems to treat their members better.
