Personality:
Minjoo’s introversion is often mistaken for arrogance, which couldn’t be further from the truth. She is trustworthy and loyal, and expects the same of others. Minjoo firmly believes in genuine friendships and is adept at cutting people whom she feels are toxic or insincere out of her life. For this reason, Min’s social circle is small but intimate. She is polite but cautious around new people...besides, you can never be too careful in the entertainment industry. It may take awhile for her to warm up to a person, but she will eventually grow to become one of the best friends you have.

Min isn’t openly demonstrative of her affections, but instead expresses her feelings in little ways such as handwriting letters or buying coffee for someone when she knows that they’ll need it. While it may not seem like it, Min is easily contented and appreciates the little things. Highly intuitive, Minjoo trusts and depends on her gut feelings in almost every situation. Family Members:
Han Byunghee | Father | 55 | Physics professor | Byunghee and Minjoo can never see eye to eye on anything. He has always dictated what Minjoo could or could not do when she was a child, all the way until she turned 14. Minjoo began to fight back for herself and that year saw their father-daughter relationship being torn to pieces. Byunghee thinks it’s unbecoming of a lady to even think of studying criminal psychology, and good God, becoming an idol is worse. He wants Min to put her “youth to good use and do something proper instead of prancing around on stage like a fool”, to which Min always replies “why would I want to be like you?”. When Min got a tattoo, he nearly had a heart attack. Perhaps Byunghee’s only redeeming factor to Minjoo is that he loves his wife wholeheartedly.

Chen Xinyi | Mom | 48 | Literature professor | Min takes after her mom in many ways; passionate, loyal and perfectionism. Minjoo always found it easy to confide in her mom who always provided much needed respite from her tyrannical father. Xinyi is affectionate and supportive, always encouraging Minjoo to dream big and fight for it. She is the peacemaker between Min and her father.

Han Minjun | Brother | 18 | Minjun is Minjoo’s baby brother and she loves him more than anything. She defends Minjun whenever their father picks on him, which always results in her being scolded for his mistakes. Min doesn’t mind though, because it makes life a little easier for her baby brother. Minjoo worries about her brother all the time, often wondering how he’s coping with his studies and their unreasonable father.

Background:
To be honest, Min first got into the idol industry to piss her dad off. She wanted him to see her break free from his chains and have the whole world watch too. Eventually though, she found that she loved the industry for constantly challenging her and pushing her to be the best. Performing gave her the opportunity to explore and develop the different sides to her that she was never quite conscious of. She loves the feeling

Min was inspired by all the amazing ladies in the industry who display a certain type of fierceness on stage and never let the idol image define who they are. These ladies have a certain charm in their strength and independence, leaving Min hoping that she will someday be like them.

Friends:
Park Chanyeol, Exo K - He really is quite a happy virus, always making Min laugh with his antics. They didn’t quite hit it off immediately since Minjoo is a lot more cautious, but soon grew to understand each other.  With Chanyeol, Min is able to let her guard down because she knows his friendship is true.

Lee Chaerin, 2NE1 - Min looks up to CL both as a person and as a performer, and always goes to her for advice. CL takes care of Minjoo as a mother would look after her child, but also gets Minjoo to goof off with her sometimes.

Love Interest 1: Kris, Exo M. He is visibly distracted whenever Min is around and looks a whole lot happier. Kris doesn’t always vocalize his feelings, showing it in his actions instead. The two have some sort of silent connection between each other, often knowing what the other needs even when they don’t say a thing.

Love Interest 2: Suho, Exo K. Suho is very affectionate towards Min, something that took a little getting used to. Min may be shy whenever their groupmates cheer or playfully cringe at Suho’s display of affections, but somewhere inside her, she quite likes it...
