Family Background:

Lee Eun Seol came into the new world on April 24th, in Gunsan; North Jeolla province, South Korea. She and her family moved to Seoul shortly thereafter. When she was 8, she eventually moved to California, USA where she studied English and lived there for 5 years and came back at 13. While they were in the US, Seol's parents adopted a child to a Korean couple who could not afford to raise him due to personal matters. His real name was Woo Ki Sun but soon changed to Lee Ji Yong as he was a new member added to the Lee family.

She comes from a six-member family. A pair of parents, two elder brothers and a younger one. Her father is a manager at Music & Arts Department, while her mother is a highly talented drama professor in a University. Seol's elder brother, Byunghun, or best known as L.Joe is the lead rapper of boyband Teen Top formed by TOP Media in 2010. The second eldest - Lee Donghoon, is a famous and well known ulzzang in Korea. As for her adopted brother, Jiyong, is a preschooler. All four of them get along very well. They barely quarrel and even if they do, they'll immediately apologize.

At the age of 13, Seol and both of her elder brothers secretly ran away from home and flied back to Seoul, where Byunghun went to an open audition in Lotte World. Seol and Donghoon disagreed at first about Byunghun auditioning as a rapper because they knew that he easily gets tired, and also told how hard it is to risk the consequences of being an idol. Although both of them are younger than their brother, but they know more about him than anyone could. Byunghun had to begged to his knees for Seol and Donghoon to come with him. Eventually, they had to agree because they love their brother very much. After their mother knew that they had ran away from home, she immediately came looking for them and thus, she decided to stay with them in Seoul, while their father is in the US. As for Donghoon, he got discovered by a magazine and ulzzang entertainment. They scouted him and gave him a manager.

They are very supportive towards Seollie. Seol is a multi-talented girl that is gifted and has a voice that can move mountains, and it's one of a kind that is very rare in Asia. She never took vocal classes. That's because their family, has a natural talent in music. Seol and her siblings have been influenced in the K-Pop music industry since they were young. Discovery:

Seol has been training for 4 years under Cube Entertainment since she was 13 years old. It all started when she was performing on stage at her previous school in California for the talent show. She sang Ailee's Heaven as the main song, and G.NA's Without You for the final. The judges were really impressed and gave her props for having beautiful vocals at a young age. Soon, she became one of the best female singers in school. Other than that, she also performed in many singing and dancing competitions all around the world. She won various awards such as; 'best vocal of the month', 'young leader', 'star of the present', and so on. At the age of 13, she, her siblings, and her mother moved back to Seoul and she entered a talent showcase that was open worldwide. She played the piano and sang Taru's Kiss Kiss - which earned her the first spot.

She gained a lot of attention and won many hearts of the audience. Her brother, Byunghun, found out that Cube Entertainment was holding an open audition. He insisted Seol to audition and fully knew that she would get accepted. After a few days, she tried her best and went to the open auditions. Cube Entertainment's founder was very impressed of her talents. The other agents also strongly agreed to accept Seol into the entertainment industry.

After four and a half years of training, the company wanted to debut her as a solo artist because of her strong vocals, but she declined due to her thoughts that she was scared she didn't have enough confidence. They were fine with her decision, and they put her in a girlgroup that also soon will debut.

During the auditions, she showed her talents by singing Song Ji Eun - It's Cold and Kim Bo Kyung - Suddenly. She chose those two songs 'cause Song Ji Eun's song represents Seol's high and soft vocals, while Kim Bo Kyung's are low and has a charismatic tone to it. She danced to SISTAR19 - Ma Boy flawlessly. They also asked if she could sing Japanese songs. She said yes and sang this for them. Her voice is very similar like Park Bom. She has named solo artists G.NA, IU and Ailee as one of her biggest influences who inspired her to get into music. In addition, Seol names idol singer Park Bom of 2NE1 as one of her role models, because she wants to have her strong vocals and strong performances.

During her years as a trainee, she communicate and work well with the other trainees because she's really friendly. The others really love talking to her and usually after practice, they would spend some time together. When they have problems, they go to her and she gives them advices. She's really caring. Plus, she was the most wanted trainee, because she knew how to dance, sing, rap, act and play instruments. Basically, she was one of the most talented trainees in the entertainment. She learned very fast how the things are in the entertainment world and she became distant and closed to the public.
