Personality: Hae Rin is a very determined and strong-willed girl. When she puts her heart to something, she's willing to go all out to get it, no matter what the consequences are. She's very friendly, and takes the initiative to make friends. Her cheerfulness and happy-go-lucky attitude gains her many loyal friends. She's also not petty, and if someone makes her angry, she won't be for long. That person would probably be treated coldly for a while then she will resume talking to that person.

However, she reckons that being loyal and trustworthy is the best policy. Once someone breached her trust, it's going to take a while before she forgives that someone and gains her trust back. She keeps by that mindset because her best friend in elementary school betrayed her, and she was really affected by it. Her best friend, also used to have a boyfriend and they used to hang out with her. But one day, her best friend called her up and told her that she saw her boyfriend a two-timer and broke up with her, causing her to be very depressed. She saw how love could affect one so badly so she had never taken an interest with boys.

She has a kind of dorky and 4D personality. She likes to do weird things when cameras are not looking, like make a funny face or some crazy dance, which earns her the nickname "KKabHae". She's quite retarded in the sense that she just speaks up randomly, because she's usually thinking about something else. She's also a very creative and artsy person and likes to create her own words, she thinks it's REALLY cool. She just absolutely LOVES to play pranks on others and annoy them, although not with aegyo. She is a real CHATTERBOX, doesn't think she can survive without talking. Her immature mentality makes her very gullible, which is something she hates. But Haerin did not want to, she had set her mind to becoming an idol. This resulted in many quarrels between them. But after time, she thought of how much her daughter yearned to be a singer, and finally gave in.

Lee Jae Won | Father | 40 years old | Lawyer | He and Soo Jung have been living together for so many years and are even working in the same profession. But he never stopped Haerin from wanting to be a singer. He had always been supportive of her and helped her a great deal in improving her talent. He also sided with when attempting to persuade her mother. 

Background: Since young, she has been friends with SNSD's Yuri. They both started singing and dancing when they saw their first concert together. They had posted song and dance covers on YouTube and received many subscribers. These subscribers gave them encouragement to go try out for auditions. Because Yuri was older, she went for the SM Global Auditions and got accepted. Ever since Yuri debuted with girl group, SNSD, she has been a hardcore S♥NE and watched SNSD's every performance. Because she missed her dear friend so much, she began to beg her obstinate mother to let her be a singer. But her mother didn't allow her.

Then, the individual covers that she did was noticed by Woollim Entertainment, and her videos were put in their playlist. The entertainment then contacted her and scouted her. They told her to pack her bags and come in for another phase of auditions. If she passed, she would be a trainee under Woollim Entertainment. She told her parents about it, her father approved at once, but her mother still didn't budge. She, with the help of her father, then persuaded her mother, using examples like Yuri to move her. She told her mother that it was a once in a lifetime opportunity and it would be good to try. In the end, seeing Haerin so persistent, she finally relented. When her mother agreed, she was elated and told her she'd do her proud and not regret this decision one bit.

Friends: SNSD's Yuri | Her childhood friend, but she moved because she joined SM Entertainment. They're very dorky, and they are like sisters. That's why they're called "Kkab Twins". They help each other when in need. 

Super Junior's Donghae | He treats her like his younger sister and dotes on her a lot. He encourages her and supports her when she's tired or feels like giving up. She tells him everything and he's like her confidante.

Love Interest 1: INFINITE's Woohyun | He's really cheesy and dorky, just like Haerin. He's the person who receives the most amount of slaps from her. Not only is he like a boyfriend, but he's also her best friend, elder brother and confidante. He's sensitive but never over-protective, and doesn't get jealous easily. They love singing and taking selcas together. 

Love Interest 2: INFINITE's L | He's a total gentleman and he loves Haerin a lot. When she's happy, he's happy too. Likewise, when he's sad, she's sad too. They're kind of telepathic? He's really playful and fun to be with.
