♥ personality: "More like a mother than a girlfriend" is the thing her boyfriend likes to say the most about Jade to . Her friends would all agree though. She was a bit bossy and tended to look after everyone like a mama hen, but things have changed now. 

Jade has become a cool character, she doesn't let things that bother her settle in. It might seem like she is uncaring, but really she's just tired. Where she used to worry about everything, now she just brushes it away like dust. Things have been bad for her recently and she has lost her grasp on hope in life. She has become more apt to brush off her friends to just go home and read or surf the net because it's too tiring to do much else. She has lost her zest for life. She hasn't always been this way, she was once a real fun girl to hang with.
Before she would go shopping with her friends or volunteer at a shelter or orphanage, she was always wanting to help people. She loved acting and singing and being on stage and drew people to her like moths to a flame, but something changed for her and she lost her way.
The light just seemed to go out.
Her temper is quick to snap these days and she hides herself away so others won't start hating her for her change in personality. Even her boyfriend seemed to be distancing himself from her, which has put her into an even deeper funk.

 

♥ history: Born in an affluent area of Seoul, Jade never wanted for much. She was like a little princess to her family, but her Father was secretly disappointed she hadn't been a boy. That was made apparent quickly and she and he never quite got along. Her mother used her as a bargaining tool or as a buffer for her failing marriage. Jade was always in the midst of a fight at home so she stayed away and played at the park, making friends with everyone there. She didn't let their fighting wear her down but kept right on smiling.
After years of verbal abuse from her Father, her mother finally divorced him and he went to live with his own Father again. A few months later Jades Grandfather passed away, and her Father took over the company.

Jade's mother remarried quickly to a younger man. The man was nice and gained Jades respect, but after a few years he began to touch her inappropriately. She tried to tell her Mother and got slapped in the face. So she lost her trust in her family, but still held out that something would happen to make it better. Soon her step-father was caught cheating and they divorced at his urging. Her mother was devastated and stopped speaking to Jade at all. Then Jade's Grandmother passed away from a after months of Jade staying at the hospital with her to care for her.

A year later (when Jade was 17) her mother remarried again to an older man of wealth and Jade was never comfortable at home after that. He was a harsh man to get along with so she moved out and is finishing high school on her own, as well as dealing with a part-time job. 

Then Jades father died suddenly of an illness and Jade became distant. She had time to forgive him of everything in the past but for some reason she couldn't get over his death. Donghae became colder to her and began to stay out longer and longer which hurt her deeply because she had seen what his own Fathers death had done to him.

♥ how did you met: We met in the high school drama department. We were friends first then turned into lovers. All through high school we have dated and even picked our colleges to corrispond with eachother so we could go to the same university after graduation.

♥ personality: He is sweet and caring and always pops up with a gift of a rose or something to brighten my day. Sometimes he can be forgetful or a little rude but we all have our quirks. He always asks about my families health and he can cry easily because he is sensitive.

♥ how do you act around each other: Kind of mushy and affectionate. There's lots of skinship and cuddling, hand-holding while walking to class, that sort-of thing.

♥ back-up love interest: Kim Him Chan

♥ rival: Im Yoona

♥ the reason: She has always had her sights on Donghae and has tried to break us up in the past, but Donghae and Yoona are friends and he doesn't believe she would do those things. She acts sweet and innocent if Donghae is around but the second we are alone she becomes nasty and sneers at me, telling me we don't belong together and being spiteful.
