Personality: Yeseul is an energetic, slightly boyish, outgoing person. She loves talking with others and making friends. Yeseul speaks well and holds herself with a proper amount of self-confidence, not too conceited but not lacking either. Yeseul loves making people laugh, even at the cost of her image. She’s a naturally cute person in her antics, but she hates being called cute. She will go through great lengths to make sure her friends are happy. Yeseul isn’t camera shy at all, but she doesn’t actively look for it to shoot her. Yeseul's idea of showing affection is teasing someone and a lot of physical affection, whether it be a light punch or a gigantic hug. Yeseul also has self-diagnosed OCD due to some of her strange habits. Yeseul is modest about her abilities/talents, but she won’t turn down a chance to showcase her abilities.

Habits: If Yeseul is not practicing, she’s playing games on her cell phone or Samsung Galaxy Tab. She sometimes makes soft sounds in her sleep if she’s extremely tired. Yeseul sleeps on her back. She also has a lot of strange habits (i.e. arranging M&M’s by color before eating them; needing to use hand sanitizer before eating, even if she’s already washed her hands; arranging her closet by style, then color; etc.). Laughs loudly.

Trivia: She can’t fall asleep without holding her giant stuffed bear, which she appropriately named Teddy. Yeseul was the class president in her last year of high school. She was a trainee for a year at TS before moving to Woollim. She was an extra in Bang & Zelo's Never Give Up MV. She learned break-dancing from her older brother. Yeseul wears reading glasses, but she tries to avoid wearing them. Hates spiders.

Background: Yeseul was born in Seoul, South Korea. Her family moved to LA when she was six. At first, Yeseul was expected to follow in her mother’s footsteps as a nurse, and she was more than happy to oblige, but after learning breakdancing from her older brother, her dreams changed. Thus, her older brother is the biggest influence on her love for music. Luckily, her family was supportive of her dreams no matter what they were, and enrolled her in a dance academy. At first she was a shy person, but during the time she spent at the dancing academy, she had come out of her shell and became the outgoing person she is today.

After her father was given a promotion in LA and an offer to run an extension of the architecting firm in Korea, the family moved back to Seoul when she was 16. At first she was reluctant to go because of the friends she’d made in LA, but after enrolling in a performing arts high school, she adjusted quickly. It was here that Yeseul took up an interest in rapping; the way the lyrics could become so intricate in meaning and flow intrigued her. Yeseul was scouted at the school’s annual showcase in her second year by TS Entertainment where she took up an even greater interest in rap because of Bang Yongguk. She trained at TS for two and a half years before switching to Woollim.

Friends: Lee Sungyeol (Infinite); Sungyeol is one of Yeseul’s closest friends because of their similar personalities. They call each other twin because they are so alike. Sungyeol and Yeseul like to come up with pranks together, and she’s often seen playing with his hair.

Bang Yongguk (B.A.P); Yeseul met Yongguk while she was a trainee at TS. They generally like to cause trouble together, and if they’re not teasing each other, they’re play fighting. Yongguk calls Yeseul a ‘Thug Baby’ because of her cute but rough ways.

Song Jieun (Secret); Jieun is another friend Yeseul met while training at TS. She looks up to this unni because of her amazing vocal talent. Yeseul often goes to Jieun for advice and will seek her out if she needs help with make-up or anything of the like.

Love Interest 1: Nam Woohyun (Infinite); Woohyun and Yeseul are very comfortable around each other, but Woohyun has the tendency to get jealous, even when it’s innocent. He plays it off as being protective of her and won’t admit to his jealousy.

Love Interest 2: Lu Han (EXO-M); Yeseul practices Mandarin with him, Lu Han practices Korean with her. Sometimes they practice using lame pick-up lines on each other and then laugh about it.
