Guilty As Charged..

I always feel guilty for not liking groups that everyone is going gaga over.. But honestly? I already like so many groups, the more rookie groups that come out, the more I'm indifferent to them. It's just that, Korean music is all really similar! With the exception of some bands like FT Island..I don't really see the point of becoming a fan of many of the newest groups.

What I want? I'd like a NON-MAINSTREAM Korean group to debut. I don't mean like FT Island or CN Blue (even though I'm a Prima Donna), I mean literally non-mainstream.

One idol group like HOT is fine, two is fine, ten I can work with; but over twenty? Not so much. I actually had a lot of expectations for the newer groups: Dalmatian, B1A4, APink, do Infinite and Teen Top count? And like the newest ones, Boyfriend and stuff.. I have their albums, I listen to their songs sometimes..but ultimately? I'm never going to be able to spazz over them because there's nothing really different to spazz about except that L.Joe had pink hair like Sungmin and Boyfriend has a pair of twins...(OHSHC, twincest fan service? :O)

It's not even that I dislike them, I just don't LIKE them either..I mean if you ask me what the members of Infinite are, I can say: Seungyeol, Sungjong, Hoya, Woohyun, Myungsoo and L...are they the members of Infinite? :O I mix them up with Teen Top because of the number of Infinite/Teen Top gang fics xD

I ultimately just don't see much in new Kpop groups anymore. I've been going back to my roots in Asian music and listening more to JRock and JPop..plus some CPop, Korean raps and of course my always forevers: Super Junior (T,M,H,KRY), SS501, SHINee, UKiss, KARA, BEG, 2PM, SG Wannabes, MBLAQ, some ZE:A...others? Yeah, I listen to others too..but not much x3 Actually, I've gotten into AfroBeat recently ^O^ and artists like Mohombi, Show Luo, MIC..

Don't bash me lah ~^^

I feel the same...nowaday all i listen is Mblaq, T-ara, Sg wannabe Super Junior, Shinee, and old-school Shinhwa...so many idol groups coming out lately...yet I don't get impressed on any, except for Rania(oh y)

I so agree with you. Mostly all of there genres are the same! And nothing happens that much. -.- Well..to those new to kpop would like them..but will eventually spazz and be a fangirl to those kpop bands in our era. I don't mean ALL, only SOME. I was one of them. The forst kpop band that I ever liked was SHINee..and then I met Super Junior. *drumroll* I eventually liked them and became a pure-blooded ELF.<br />

And when I talk to my unnies (Shawols)..them spazzing so much about SHINee and I, just..yeah. But when it comes to SJ, I'm like, "WAAAHHH!! OH MY FISH!!" Something like that. xD<br />

I think avery fan has her/his own destined group to love. Because every time I listen to other kpop bands..yup, I like them..but...Super Junior always comes back to my mind.<br />

So..I think, if you like that group, then you must promise to love and have faith with it FOREVER. And if you don't like one..don't bash it! They've done nothing wrong. It's just you like your bias more than them.<br />
