OK. I was reading through a person's reviews on their review shops, and I have to say, it REALLY ing pisses me off when people try to correct people's grammar, but they don't correct it properly.

EX. Excerpt from one of the person's reviews:

Incorrect: The school bell finally rung. Today's classes are so bored since your boyfriend, Woohyun didn't attend to school today.

Correct: The school bell finally rung. Today's classes were so boring because your boyfriend, Woohyun, didn't attend school today.

NO. NO. NO. 

CORRECT: either a) "The school bell finally rang." or b) "The school bell had finally rung."

"Rung" is a past participle, it is coupled with "have" or "had" in a sentence. If you don't have either, don't use "rung", because it's not grammatically correct. If you're going to correct people's writing, correct it properly, or don't correct it at all.

Also, there was another review where the author's title was "There All Gone". They did not correct this person's title, which should be: "THEY'RE All Gone", yet in another review, they corrected the person's title, "Neighbourhood Idiots". They said 'neighbourhood' is incorrect spelling, but, hate to break it to you dip, OTHER COUNTRIES SPELL NEIGHBOURHOOD WITH A 'U'. THERE ARE MULTIPLE WAYS TO SPELL IT. "NEIGHBORHOOD" IS NOT THE ONLY CORRECT WAY, DIP. IT'S LIKE "COLOUR", OR "FAVOUR", OR "FAVOURITE", OR WHATEVER, THEY CAN BE SPELLED WITH U'S. GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT.

ANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNND this person decided to tell a different author that a semi-colon is ONLY used in place of the word "and". NO. A semi-colon is used to connect two independent clauses which could be broken up into two separate sentences.  A SEMI-COLON IS NOT ALWAYS USED IN THE PLACE OF A CONJUNCTION JFC WHERE DID YOU EVEN LEARN THAT

I apologize for my swearing but it really pisses me off when people try to correct others but they don't do it right. Especially when it comes to grammar, lmao. I just realized that I called them a dip twice... ah, well.

I feel like I should just open up a review shop for reviewing people's reviews. It would be good.
