Ideal type: Xiulin can honestly admit that she likes arrogant guys. She doesn't really like gentlemen who always bring everything for her. Xiulin likes athletic guys. It's a big attraction to her when a guy dances good. Someone who is close to her ideal type is ZE:A's Kim Dongjun and Ha Minwoo.

Personality: At first Xiulin is a shy girl, but when you get to know her, you won't remember how quiet she was when you weren't close. Xiulin can be quiet at times even if your already close. For some reason she doesn't really like talking that much. She's very nice and generous. She would somertimes offer to pay the bills for food, clothing etc. Xiulin can be  bratty at times especially when she's mad. When Xiulin gets mad at you she would make you feel guilty. She is awkward with skinship. She would only do skinship if she's really really close to that person but if not she'll do anything to not do skinship with you. Xiulin is cold to guys.

Short story of life before trainee/being excepted: Xiulin loved acting ever since she was a kid. Her first dream was to be an actress. She started to love singing when she joined a contest at school. She started to love dancing when she was crowned as best dancer in a contest. She joined a club at school that focuses on acting. She was crowned as the best actress. She found out about kpop when her sister became a fan. She started to love kpop and wanted to be an idol instead of an actress but her dream of becoming an actress was still there. Xiulin convinced her mom to got visit Korea and there she auditioned for SM Entertainment and got accepted. But she left the company when  she almost got a horrible disease for not being able to rest for even just one day. She then auditioned for Starship Entertainment and JYP Entertainment at the same time. She was accepted at both but she chose to join JYP. As a child Xiu Lin was like the older sister to Xiu In (her sister). Even though Xiu In was older, Xiulin was the one who acted like the older sister.
