Background History
she was born in Daegu, her mother is japanese and a really famous japanese actress and her father is korean he's a normal businessman she had a younger brother name Jung Minkyung . she's fluent in japanese and korea her parents got divorced when she's still 8 because her mom wants to deepend her career as a japanese actress but her father forbid her mom to, and soon she choose to live with her father but when she's 16 her father went on a bankrupt and died that's why she lived with her grandma. ever since then she has worked as a model for some online shops to make more money and has found herself in music and dancing so she wanted to become a singer, so she could meet her mother soon, because after the seperation she never meet her mother. even though she has a sad life but she tried her best to always become cheerful, she's now the head family since she's the one who works in the family supporting her brother study and her sick grandma. and that's why she's hardworking

TRAINEE LIFE
How was your trainee life? on the trainee days she manage to do well although she sometimes having a hard time dealing with the singging lessons, that's when she meet D.O helping her she is well known at the times because of her ability, she's also close with the sunbaenims accept for D.O. But she often get scolded in the practice room because she is juggling beetween her studies and her training that's why she gets tired easily and not focus during the lessons
How did you get to SM? she audition for the first time but fail to get in because she suddenly had an urgent problem that her grandma's has to go to the hospital due to her sickness thats why she can't join the second step of the audition and finally join the audition the year after and got in

Experience before debut : she used to be models for online shop or auction, she also the back up dancer for SNSD and SHINee and smtown concerts , she also did a few CF
