Family Background: Her father never wanted SungHyo and Siwon to be singers/dancers. He wanted them to be in the family business. They were in America at this time.  They didn't care and Siwon saved up enough money to fly to Korea. His parents found out and moved to Korea. They found them living alone. They made Siwon and SungHyo move in with the family. Siwon debuted in 2003 and later on, SM wanted to take in SungHyo. She was still in highschool so they waited, instead, she trained while in highschool, She then debuted at the age of 18, promising herself to go to college after everything.
