Why is he 1 of my 7 ultimate biases?

Take a glance at the gifs on top. How old do you think he is?
Well, since you'll probably guess wrong anyway, I'll tell you. He's 30.
And yet, he still has the angelic smile of a young child.
And as much as I love his face, his adorable dimple smile, his killer gazes, his hyena laugh and his ABS *Q*,
thats just a small part of why I adore him so much.

Many people dont know, that behind his smile, lies more pain, tears and heartbreak than most could imagine.
And if you think it's easy to have that smile he has to plaster on himself everyday, you are out of your mind.

Being a leader isn't easy.

Being the leader of Super Junior, one of Korea's top boybands, having to manage not 5 or 6, but 14 other members, must bebeyond difficult.
Plus, even before debuting he had problems. He recently revealed his family background, and it was not a pretty one.
His parents had issues with one another and his father beats him up alot ().
He was crying when he related everything, and he made me cry too ;_;
When he was a trainee he wanted so badly to succeed and to succeed fast, to bring in income and help the people that hurt him.

His love for his family.

I honestly dont think I could bring myself to help the people who hurt me, even if they were my parents. At least, I won't work as hard as he did.
He has my full respect for that. I hope someday, I'll be able to make my parents proud of me as I'm sure his are proud of him.


His love for ALL s.

Super Junior started as 12. (Kyuhyun's story will be explored in another blogpost).

Then in 2009, Hangeng left.

It was a difficult time for everyone. Especially for Heechul (Hangeng being his best friend) and Leeteuk because he's the leader.
But unlike Heechul who merely tried to look strong, Leeteuk had to be strong. For everyone.
He had to be the one to wipe their tears and tell them its ok. He had to be the one to look at the camera and smile that phony smile,
telling the media they'll be fine without him. 1 week after he's gone.
I know he wants to cry. (He's a big baby if you didnt realise) but he had to control himself for everyone's sake.
I'm sure he was mad at Hangeng. I bet they all were.
But they understood his reasons and watch him as he succeeds in his solo activities.

I bet Teukie is proud of his Beijing Fried Rice.

Then we have Kibum. Who went on a long hiatus to pursue his acting dreams.
Leeteuk was probably shocked when Kibum told him his plans. But regardless, he let him go.
Kibum will be releasing a drama soon (yay!) and even though he's been gone for a long time, Leeteuk still tells ELFs everywhere
to believe in him, and continue to support him.

I bet Teukie is proud of his Killer Smile.

Kangin's scandal. The hit and run.
Leeteuk was probably the saddest since he's close to him (*cough* Kangteuk *cough*). Disappointed. Really mad.
I dont really know what Leeteuk said, but I was told his last words to Kangin were harsh. But he had good intentions I'm sure.

Recently Kangin was released from army. Guess who was the first to embrace him and welcome him home?

R-e-s-p-e-c-t.

Super Junior M.
The subgroup. The sidekicks, the foreigners, the disgrace to SJ. Whatever those antis call them.
Leeteuk stood up for them.
He went back on his forever 13 promise so that Zhoumi and Henry could be part of the family.
He didn't get to interact with them often. But I know he cares about them too, if not why would he stand up against the
very people that have been supporting them all this while?

Even now, whenever Super Junior gets an award, he would raise it high and yell out the names of the missing members.
To tell everyone they are, and always will be part of the team.


His love for ELFs.

He always tells us how much he appreciates us. Even though some ELFs aren't exactly... Polite to other fandoms.
He's still proud of us. He still loves us. I know he does.
I went to SS4 some time ago (yea I'm a lucky ) and he was throwing roses at the audience.
He even specially gave one to a fan and HUGGED HER. (/dies of jealousy ;A;)
Fan service?
No.
Its fan love.

Then during the performance of Our Love, we did our fanchant.
That big baby cried again. Tsk.
He went around the whole stadium bowing and smiling at us through his wet eyes.

I'll remember that sight forever :'>

Last blurb ;

I cant stand it when people say things like ; he's a bad leader, he's incompetent, he's ugly, he tries too hard, blah blah blah.
I'm more defensive of him than almost every other member coz I know how easy it is to bruise him.
He's a strong guy. But also a weak guy. He probably cried more in his 30 years than you'll ever cry in your life.
He's a beautiful man. No matter how unclean his mind is (face it he's human) he has the purest heart I know.

His awesome leadership is what made Super Junior so strong and long lasting.

He deserves the wingless angel title he shamelessly gives himself.
He deserves a stable, happy relationship, where fans won't hate and bash on his wife/husband
He deserves to be able to smile geniunely all the time.
He deserves happiness. And LOTS of it.
